"Master?" Mysty said. I took a deep breath and gathered the strength to scold her.
“Any violent reaction?" I asked. I was doing my best to sport a poker face.
"None, but can I talk to you after the meeting?" she said.
She wanted to break my heart a little bit more, huh? Or did she decide on the matter? Did I want to hear it?
"You can share it right now; go!" I said. Her face was in horror, and she immediately shook her head. It must not be good!
"It would be better after the meeting," she replied.
“Okay, thank you for wasting everybody's time!" I said. Toby kicked my leg in response, and I’d deal with him later. Mysty’s face was red when she sat back in her seat. Was that too much? I'd apologize later. I cleared a lump in my throat and got down to business.
