Alia was sitting in her room aside the window when her mother came in the room and saw crying .Her mother went to her and tried to console her. She way crying so much that she was hiccupping.
Why me mom?,in the entire world,why me? what was my mistake that God decided to punish me this way?said Alia still crying very hard.
This is not the first time she is crying like this,she has been like this since her husband passed away after the wedding,even though it was an arrange marriage.The taunting words her in-law spoke to her keeps revolving in her head all the time.

It was just a week ago she came to know that her father want her to get married again to a man with a 6 month old daughter from his first wife .
She has not replied her parent concerning the second marriage.Her father had never supported her in anything before .she has always been a burden to him,since he wanted a son and got a daughter.
That why she was married off at the young age of 24 to a man addicted to drinking and smoking and also 10 years older than her. She knew her father will also forced her to marry this guy even if it is against her wish.
Her mother was very supportive but she dare not speak in front of her husband .Before when Alia wanted to reject the marriage proposal and her mother supported her in this,her father beat her mother to the point she could not talk,hence Alia accepted the marriage proposal even though she was not happy about it.
After Alia calmed herself down her mother spoke "Alia dear,I think you should consider once he marriage proposal your father was talking about "
His family is rich and well respected.The man you have to marry is a very honourable person in the society,He has his own Business.
Moreover,He has a daughter,a 6 month old daughter who needs a mother.I am sure you will surely think about the baby that needs a mother care and love.she continue patting her daughter's hand softly.
Her mother disappeared from the room and Alia folded her legs to ger chest and slipped into her deep thinking .

Ethan stood up from his place and went near the crib of his daughter .He looked at her with his intense eyes,he bent down and took her from her crib and kissed her cheeks.

He played with her for sometime still she fell asleep in his hand,he gently placed her in crib and sat on the bed. He thought about it for some minutes and reached out to take Alia picture in his hands.
"She is very young and looks innocent,why would she want to marry me?is she doing all this for my money?Ethan thought to himself.
He placed the picture back on the table,and picked the framed picture on his side table.
"I miss you Laura,why did you leave here to look after princess alone?he said and his eyes was filled with tears
"I will always love your Laura ,no one will replace you in my life,you will only be the love of my life"he muttered and pressed the frame to his chest.
He cried himself to sleep with the framed to his chest tightly
