THIRD PERSON’S POV The silent tension in the room lingered longer than anyone expected. Russell’s father had no immediate response, only silence, and though Robert looked visibly shaken, fear was not the only thing beating in his chest. Beneath it, his heart still plotted evil. The board members shifted uneasily in their seats, exchanging glances, waiting for Mr Marvin to regain himself, but the shock of Russell’s sudden appearance had clearly unsettled him.
