Chapter 22We left the campsite right at 6 a.m. John began flying over our tire tracks when we were about 2.5 miles to the location where we swept for tracking bugs. He called us by radio and said, "The helicopter's rotor wash is doing a great job at removing all evidence of tire tracks. The tracks are wiped completely clear in one pass. I'll do a second pass when I head back to our camp after this reconnaissance run. After I clear the remaining tire tracks, I will fly over the path you are taking to visibly check for unwanted visitors. I'll do reconnaissance runs about every one and a half hours. I am also going to do reconnaissance runs over our campsite. I'll do this by scanning at least a 10 mile radius around our campsite. There are lots of passageways through these hills, so I'll rand
