Chapter 24After we arrived back at our campsite, lunch was just being served. I told everyone, "Let's have a meeting after our lunch break. There are several options we need to discuss pertaining to our next course of action. That is... leaving this paradise."
Sam said, "You mean we have to leave? Go back to civilization? Go back to Papaya Island? I was just getting used to sleeping in the hot dry air on hot dusty cots..."
Everyone then laughed and was saying how they will kind of miss this lifestyle. The cities in the oasis areas are truly paradise, it's just out here in the open desert where the sandy topsoil continually blows around because there are no trees and vegetation. Stargazing is absolutely wonderful, which is almost a nightly event for Scott, Jeri, Jessica and I. David and S
