"I would like to know, Red..." I paused for a moment. "Whose Idea was it to send your brother to the Academy? Yours or your mothers?"
For some reason, the stiffness in his posture seemed to relax. "And who asked you to ask me the question? Collins, or was it your idea?"
Before I could reply, he waved a dismissive hand and clucked ruefully. "How was your time there? I've heard a lot of things about that place. That it's a place rich families abandon their kids if they don't want them anymore. Also heard... that they can be kept there for as long as their families like, even if they want them there until their kids die."
