The alarm bells were already ringing inside my head before he was done proposing the offer. There was just this sinister edge in that happy glint in his eyes.
I looked away, shaking my head. "No. I can't do that. You never said anything about going anywhere with you until this moment. You just can't bring this up now. I need to be made aware so I can prepare."
