Rebecca's POV The rain had finally reduced to a cold drizzle again, but the mountain pass behind us still looked like a battlefield abandoned by the gods. I felt a little happiness that we left the mountain pass and were on our way out now. It was one thing after the other. Broken weapons were all around among the rocks. Blood mixed with mud and rainwater was on some of the path. Fallen bodies had already started fading beneath the fog, swallowed by the mountain as if they had never existed at one point in time. I was standing at the edge of a small clearing, trying to catch my breath. Every part of me was hurting. My cloak sticked to my skin. My boots were soaked with water and made funny sounds when I stepped on a shallow land. But none of that was what bothered me right now. M
