“TAYLOR.” The shout from his partner surprised Nathan, and he looked around quickly, trying to work out who it had been aimed at. His unasked question was answered soon enough when he saw a youth, he didn’t get a good enough look to tell how old he was, turn and run off with Georgie in pursuit. Nathan didn’t have a clue what was going on, but he trusted his partner enough to follow. He made it no more than a dozen feet before he had to give up the chase, however, pulling up into a limping walk as pain shot through his leg from the Pekinese bite he had suffered earlier that day.
