The concerns Nathan and Georgie had developed over the Larsson Studio, and the rumours of impropriety started by Kelly of The Herald, were worsened when they saw the building housing it.
Neither of them knew much about the modelling business, or about photographic studios in general, but a business park seemed the wrong location for such an enterprise. The almost complete lack of identification on the exterior of the building, in combination with the location, made it seem as though the studio had something to hide. The fact that it had offices above a prestigious jewellers on the high street, and supposedly had a good national reputation, did little to counter the initial impressions of the two detectives.
