Christopher's POV Leo and I sat in Aspen at a bar on the main level of our hotel. He was bundled up because of the freezing cold December weather, but I was in regular clothes. The weather outside matched the coldness in my heart so it wouldn't matter. "I'm glad I convinced you to take a break from work and drinking." Leo said, sipping his whiskey. I lifted my own whiskey to my mouth and took in a mouthful. "You're failing at the drinking part." I said sarcastically. "That's all you've done since four months ago when you told her that s**t man." "I regret it every single day." I say, drinking the rest of the drink. "You only regret it because her twin brothers came and beat your ass." Leo laughs. I wince at the memory. "You f****d with our sister, huh?" Romeo asked, barging into my office a week after the restraunt incident. "You don't know the full story." I look at the angry twins, suddenly a little nervous. I was buff but there was two of them and I was no match for the strength. "She's still our sister regardless of anything and she's helped us through some tough times. We may not act like it but we love her and we don't like to see her hurt." Julio said. "I agree brother, so when we get a call from a woman named Lila telling us that our sister is asking for us we were surprised." Romeo says. "So we of course go to visit her and see that she is a mess, but it turns out Lila has tricked us. She didn't ask for us yet when we got there she was weeping in a pile of tissues." Julio glares at me. "My sister doesn't cry often. So when we find out a man has broken her heart we only think to do the sensible thing," Romeo smiles sickly. "Which would be beat your ass." Julio finishes. I don't even call security, instead I take the beating I deserve and let them leave my office as I lay on the floor gasping for breath. That's exactly the way Leo found me that day. "Not true, although I still feel pain in my ribs from that sometimes." I say. "You can't be mad at me when I tell you this." Leo says after a few silent minutes. "What did you do?" I snap, turning towards him. "Lila texted me telling me she woukd be in Aspen," He smirks and I already know what they were going to be doing, "Which means Rosie will be here also." He finishes. My heart drops into my stomach with anticipation and nervousness. I hadn't seen her in four months and I refused to even look at any magazines to do with her after I saw she emerged with that Blake Knighten man two weeks after I broke her heart. "That's why you brought me here." I state, asking the bartender to fill my glass once more. "Actually no, because when you turn around and see what I'm seeing you're going to be very mad." He confesses and I slowly turn around to see Blake, Lila and my Rose at the front desk directly across from the bar checking in. Blake's arms were around Rose and Lila was talking to the front desk woman. But my eyes passed over his hold on her, instead settling on her stomach. With closer inspection I realized there was something underneath the large coat she wore. A bump. A baby bump.
