His Vampire. Her Werewolf.

Chapter 6

    When they arrived at the Packhouse Steven was already waiting.  He bowed to Raine and gave Symphony one last look before bowing to her as well. Symphony noted the slight hesitation but didn't say anything.  Whatever was bugging this guy she though to herself will have to wait until the vampire is dealt with and then I am  going to sit down and have a talk with him.  As they headed up to the house Raine grabbed her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.  When they entered they were greeted by a couple wolves that Symphony did not recognize.  They looked at her like they wanted to rip her head off which lead to a growl by Raines. They immediately made themselves scarce.  The three made their way up to Raines office, and Symphony made a low whistle when she saw it. It made her bedroom look tiny. 

    Raine ushered the two in his office and asked Steven to relay what he found at the warehouse. Symphony stood in shock when she heard that she was the only survivor out of 500 werewolves.  It made her sad and Raine could feel it radiate off her so he put his arm around her shoulders to comfort her.  He nodded to Steven to continue and he handed the file he found on Symphony to her. Her hands started shaking when she read through the file. It had everything on her from her great great grandparents to herself, it had birthdays and deaths and causes of deaths, not only that this guy had been tracking her movements from the time she was born until she was changed into a vampire. In bold red letters under her name the words SUCCESS was written.  She looked at Raine confused and had a hard time speaking.  Steven took the file from her hands and set it on the desk.  She was silent for several minutes while trying to comprehend what she had just read.  The file had also contained one small detail that had been left out in her family history talk with her mother, She was a werewolf. 

    "How can this be possible, I didn't even know I was a werewolf how can this guy turn me into a vampire knowing it could have killed me?" She looked to Raine for answers. "He knew you hadn't shifted yet according to the file and didn't want you to for that matter. Going back through the file it looks like you have some pretty impressive lineage which is why he chose you and said you were his greatest creation.  You can still shift if you really wanted to nothing in any world could stop that once you become 18 but if you didn't know or chose to ignore it then your wolf inside you would have been silent until you were ready as to not scare you" Raine said. Steven looked at them with wide eyes. So she was a werewolf that got turned into a vampire, a Hybrid the first successful one from the looks of the warehouse and the file that I found, I guess maybe I should cut her some slack after all she didn't ask for any of this He Thought.  "Well since you are a hybrid my dear and the first of your kind since god only knows how long we don't know much and are back at square one" Raine said to Symphony. "Just great" she replied "am I going to be a science experiment now" Raine looked at her and she was dead serious. "If anyone touches you they are dead" He said to her as he wrapped her in his arms. 

    The three decided that until they knew more on this vampire and Symphony for that matter they were going to keep what they found from the rest of the pack in fear that they might come after her.  Raine had decided to show Symphony around starting with their bedroom so she could put her back in a safe spot.  After that Raine showed her around the pack house and they were met with some unwanted attention from the wolves. "Why is a vampire here" one questioned "I don't know but it seems like our alpha has her attention" another replied. Raine quickly mind liked everyone for a meeting outside asap. He was tired of the gossip and could feel that Symphony was uncomfortable which pissed him off.  After he mind linked the pack he took her out to the deck which stood high above the ground. Below wolves had started to gather, whispering about Symphony and Raine, some even making snide comments.  Symphony heard them all. She wanted to run and hide but Raine kept a tight hold around her waist and kissed her head.

    After all the wolves had assembled Raine took a step forward with Symphony by his side. "I would like you all to welcome my mate and your future Luna Symphony. Now as many of you may have figured out she is a vampire but who are we to question fate.  I expect you to show her the same respect that you have shown and continue to show to me. Also if any of you try to or conspire to kill her you will have found that fate yourselves, no one is to touch a single hair on her head. Also as far as the comments they are to stop immediately and if they do not the punishment is death" With that Raine dismissed them all and walked back into the house with Symphony, she was shaking.  He looked at Steven " I am going to take the Luna upstairs, please handle things and unless it is an emergency I am not to be disturbed" "Yes Alpha" Steven replied.

    Raine took Symphony upstairs so she could relax and take everything in.  Once they reached their bedroom he took her inside and drew her a nice hot bath and told her that he would be in the bedroom if she needed anything else.  She smiled and gave him a peck on the cheek as a thank you.  She slowly closed the door stripped and sunk into the tub. She replayed everything in her from the day she first met Raine to now, wondering how thing had taken the turn that they did.  She was extremely shocked to find out she was a hybrid but didn't have a wolf it was all genetically decided for her , the werewolf part anyway.  She closed her eyes and allowed herself to relax.  She wasn't sure how much time had passed but she heard a knock on the door. "You ok in there baby, its dinner time if your hungry" Raine said "Ill be out in a minute" She replied.  She climbed out of the tub, dried off, got dressed and threw her hair in a bun before opening the door. She looked at Raine with a huge smile" Lets go get food I'm starving" she kissed his nose and skipped out of the room. Raine laughed and followed behind.
