LILITH.

I walked away from the room after rejecting him without looking back even after the absurd thing Jeff had asked. He was only after the money, nothing more. He didn’t introduce me to anyone in his family. No. But Anna knew his family. Anna knew the former Alpha and Luna, his parents but I didn’t mind. They went to the same school, so I thought that it was just normal and I shouldn’t bother about it. My eyes watered as I headed for the cab. Getting into it, I went back to where I came from.

Alpha Desmond guest house. No way I am not going to go back home and wallow in pain. So I went back to the guest house, to the same man whom I had run away from.

When I was about to go in, his security man wanted to stop me but I gave him no glance, heading for the double brown door. My face was neutral, I was trying so hard not to shake; to be just right. To get my mind off this s**t. I was going to betray him the way he had betrayed me.

“Why are you here?” He asked, swerving over. I could barely see him because where he was, it was very dark and I could barely see him.

“Didn’t you say you were married?” His eyes darkened even more and I knew he wanted answers. He wanted to know why I came back and I wasn't ready to tell that to him…No.

"How well can you f**k?” I didn't know where the confidence came from, but it was there, and I didn't fear this Alpha who was twice my size and could easily break me.

He got to his feet, was staring at me but I didn't care. I looked him straight in the eyes demanding an answer.

“I like the way you talk.” He was still staring at me. He was looking at me with those dark eyes that lure me in, keep me trapped. I just needed something to distract me right now. I wasn't going to go home and wallow in pain. I wasn't going to be that person.

“Then you should hurry up and come f**k me.” I pulled the dress I wore, a different colour of shirt that made me look funny. I was going to be cheating on my mate for the first time.

I hated it, but at this time, I had no choice. It had to happen.

He was merely inches away from me when he pulled my waist and dragged me closer to him. His eyes bore into mine like he was trying to search for something. “Who are you?” He asked.

“You.. you are different. Your voice... the way you articulate… why does it resonate so within me?” His eyes darkened even more and all I did was stare at those obsidian eyes that put me in a freaking choke hold. It would be so hard to resist this man when his mere touch was driving me insane.

“Stop talking and show me that you can make me forget myself.” He grabbed my face and pushed his lips on mine. It was hurried, rushed… his lips on mine were invading like war.

“What about your husband?” He traveled from my lips down to my neck, hot breath trailing my skin as he moved. My back pressed against the wall and his c**k pressed so hard against me. It felt so right… so good. And in this moment, I surrendered, letting him take charge.

“Damn, you smell good.” He was sucking at my lips now, pulling them in between both of his lips and sucking on them like butter.

“hmm...” I moaned. His palm moved along my skin, trailing over my body and I moved along with his movement…aligning with his intention and anticipating what is next.

I shut my eyes and let him take over and do his thing. He kissed my body slowly… moving his lips over every part of my body and I trembled from the effect of it. He was good with his lips and his hand.

My body grew with anticipation, and I wanted more, so I moved my hand and wrapped it around his torso. Then he kissed me, pinning me against the wall and fixing himself between my legs. “f**k me.”

That was all I said and the next second, he was tearing my clothes open and pressing himself deeply within me.

“Yes, like that.” I just wanted to forget everything that made me sad. I just wanted to do something for myself. Not because I wanted to please anyone but for me.

The next day I slipped out of the room before he could wake up, heading back to my house. Pushing the door back, I was surprised to see Anna and her mom speaking and her dad was next to Anna too. I stepped closer, heading toward the stairs as all I could think about was going into my room. I just wanted to have a good rest.

“Daddy, tell her!” Anna whined.

“Tell me what?” I was still pissed with her. She was sleeping with my mate and only yesterday did she tell me that they used to be lovers. My sister, whom I loved and thought loved me back, had betrayed me like that.

“You betrayed Jeff. You took his money!” She almost poked my eyes and my mouth fell open. I had never thought that Anna could be this cruel. There are times when she and her mother were cruel but I had never thought that she could be so manipulative. Never.

“Jeff betrayed me with you. You can’t come here and say s**t about me.” I retorted. Dad stepped closer to me and grabbed my arm.

“Don't talk to your older sister like that."

“She is a spoiled kid and you know that. She is just like her mother!” My stepmother rolled her eyes.

“Dad, she and Jeff are sleeping with each other. You are supposed to rebuke her, not me!”

“You are too reckless for Jeff and you know that. Jeff needs someone better, like your sister.” Dad dropped my hand, and I shifted my gaze to him. Did he just say that or did I not hear him correctly?

“You are not even educated. Who wants a Luna that didn't finish high school?” She rolled her eyes and all I could do was chuckle because she shouldn't be speaking to me like that, not after all that I did for Anna. It was because of Anna that I didn't go to school. They shouldn't treat me like this…. no

“You didn't go to school because you got pregnant and you aborted it. The school decided that you shouldn't tarnish their image and Dad got mad and withdrew you from school. All of it is on paper so shut up and return Landon’s one!” She screamed at my face and all I could do was stare with a wide mouth. The heck!!

That was all her.

All of that narration was hers, and I took over. I could still remember when her mom begged me to cover for her because she was going to write her final exams back in high school while I still had one more year. She had promised she was going to handle the situation, and it wasn’t going to escalate, but it did.

Dad got upset and withdrew me from school.

From then on, he didn't like me as much and there was nothing I could ever say to make him believe me because Anna’s mom went as far as documenting my name in the pack hospital.

“That isn’t true!” I whispered, my voice more shaken than before.

“Lilith, shut up!” Dad growled, looking at me with disgust.

“You need to give Jeff back his money or else you will not be allowed to stay here in this house.” He ordered. I raised my head to meet his face.

“The money doesn’t belong to Jeff,” I growled, my voice firm. I wasn’t stupid to give the money I earned to Jeff, not after sleeping with my sister.

“Then you leave this house. You are not going to stay in the same house with me after your betrayal!” Anna retorted, stepping forward like she was going to hit me. Dad stood behind her, glaring at me like I was not his daughter.

“Just release the damn money, Lilith. You don't have to be stubborn.” He rubbed his forehead like he actually cared about me but I knew he just wanted Anna to have what she wanted.

Instead of giving her that satisfaction, I left their house..

I was able to secure a place in the human world through an agent using the money I had saved up previously. I didn’t sell my body for money so I have refused to touch that money. I would use it for charity.

Three weeks later, I felt sick, so I went to the hospital, and after waiting for my appointment time, I met with the doctor.
