Bicycle Short Story
It was a sunny Saturday morning when Mary decided to go on a bicycle adventure. She had always loved riding her bike, and she wanted to explore some new trails that she had heard about in the nearby state park.
She packed a backpack with a few snacks and some water, and set off on her bike. The trails were winding and hilly, and Mary had to work hard to navigate them, but she was having a great time. She loved the feeling of the cool wind on her face and the sound of the birds singing in the trees.
As she rode deeper into the state park, Mary started to get a little lost. She had been following a map, but it seemed like she had taken a wrong turn somewhere. She stopped to take a break and check her map, but it was no use - she was completely turned around.
Just when she was starting to feel a little worried, she saw a sign for a nearby campsite. She remembered seeing a ranger station there on her map, and she figured that if she could find the ranger, they might be able to help her get back on track.
As she approached the campsite, she saw a friendly-looking ranger sitting at a picnic table. She rode over and explained her situation, and the ranger was happy to help. She gave Mary a new map and pointed her in the right direction, and Mary was back on her way.
As the sun started to set, Mary finally made it back to the trailhead. She was tired and hungry, but she was also exhilarated by her adventure. She couldn't wait to tell her friends all about it and plan her next bike ride.
