Girl with the white dress
"Mom, please!", I said in frustration.
"No, Sol.", she said firmly. "I won't let you destroy your entire life in that school, in that place, and with those kinds of people. Not when I'm still around." she said in finality while packing all my things.
She said that the life I have here was terrible when as a teenager, drinking and exploring a lot of things is completely normal.
"No Mom, you don't understand.", I said while pacing back and forth. "My friends are here! I need them and I don't think I can live without the—"
"You can! No buts and excuses, Solene. You're going with me."
A tear fell from my eye. I know my mom too well. And I know that no one can change her decision now.
And for the last time, I stare at the house and the school where I spent the 18 years of my life.
"Goodbye." I sofly whisper as tears keep falling from my eye. I will miss this.

We arrived at a two storey house after a 6-hour long drive. I noticed that the place is eerily quiet and there are bushes everywhere. The gate is also in deep black with rusts. Ugh. I hate it here already.
I took a glance at the neighborhood and saw a beautiful girl wearing a white fitted dress and a white 2 inch heels. I admit that her style and beauty is really captive. I was staring at her for a whole minute when she suddenly look at me. My heart starts beating so fast as I avoided her gaze. What on earth is happening to me?
I helped my mom with our things. Before I enter the house, I looked again where the girl was earlier but she's not there now.
'Wow, what a weird neighborhood. Welcome, Solene.', I whispered sarcastically to myself.
I don't know why but the girl's captivating beauty didn't left my head for weeks. I wonder what her name was. Maybe we could smoke together, LOL.
Weeks have passed and all I wanted to do was to k m s because of boredom. There's no alcohol and cigarettes around and I have no friends to pass time with. Ugh. What a life.
"Everyone, please meet your new classmate." my new prof said while smiling. "Come on, Solene. Introduce yourself." she said happily while opening the door for me.
I watched my new classmate's reactions as I walk infront of them.
"Hi, I'm Solene." I said simply and looked at my professor.
"U-Uhm... can you tell us more about yourself, honey?"
"I'm gay." I said while looking at her eyes.
The whole classroom suddenly filled with laughter. I looked at them confused—eyebrows meeting when my gaze suddenly landed at the girl at the last row. She was the girl I saw last time. She's now wearing a purple flowy dress and a white ribbon tie.
"O-oh, okay, okay. Class? Be quiet, please." the professor said, awkwardly.
"You can find a seat now, Solene. Suit yourself."
"Thanks." I said and walk towards the direction of the girl
She and her seatmate is still talking when I raised my hand to catch the attention of our Professor.
"Prof.?"
"Yes, Solene?", she asked while fixing her glasses.
"I want to sit beside her.", I said while pointing at the girl I saw last time.
I've heard gasp and murmuring but I didn't pay attention to them.
"Oh... Caela? Is it okay with you?"
Caela. So that was her name.
She just looked at the Professor.
"Uhm, I'm sorry. Caela doesn't speak that much. But she's nice, don't worry. I'm Mark. And yeah, you can have my seat.", the boy beside her said and sat in the front row.
I didn't ask his permission, though? I chuckled. But thanks to him, I got to seat beside Caela.
"Hi." I said as I sat beside her. But she just rolled her eyes in annoyance.
What did I do?
I was about to say something when the Professor started talking in front. If I was the same student as before, I won't spend my time listening to this. But I thought of it several times already. And I've came up to the thought of being a good student. Or at least a decent one. So I can get out of this shithole.
I took a glance at Caela again but she's just listening intently to our Professor.
I sighed.
This isn't going to be easy.
