The Hospital of Shrewdness (Compilation Of Short Stories )

Five individuals just died from COVID-19 and find themselves in a hospital called The Hospital of Shrewdness. In this place, souls are given the time to cherish and remember their fates, move on from their loved ones, and wait until the judgment. Three of these 5 individuals are not happy with staying at the hospital;the police who's a strong and fearless person but lets the injustices of the government slides, the doctor who thinks that he's too great and mighty and lets the social injustices ruin his moral compass and the broadcaster who thinks that justifying inequality will bring his life back. These three people is the worst form of injustice, they're pretending like they are the justice itself. They think that the people with no power is evil and a hindrance to their own meaning of justice. Evil is powerful if the good are afraid. People like them with great power, makes an open theater of injustices for the powerless. After staying at the hospital for a few days, the judgment has been served for the three, they are going to hell. They're utterly shocked, the three people said, "We did everything while we were living, we served the public with honesty." The Creator replied with vexatious tone, "When injustice is the priority, honesty becomes evil." The remaining two, the basketball player and the tattoo artist started talking. They're talking about how can they go to heaven. The basketball player said that he's the most likely one to go to heaven because he's neutral, "I'm neutral because I don't want my life to be political." The tattoo artist replied, "If you're neutral in situations of injustice, you had chosen the side of the oppressor, you are damn ignoring the the voices of the oppressed." The next day comes and they're going to see the judgment of the Creator. The Creator decides that the basketball player will go to hell and the tattoo artist will go to heaven. "Tolerance implies no lack of commitment to the people, the hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict."
