Darkness came sooner than expected. The phone call I had received cooled my burning heart instantly and now I looked like a new person. At supper time we sat on a round table with my family to enjoy the meal that I had cooked.
Today I had insisted that I was the one to cook for my family. Mary’s work was just to play with Peter while I knocked things as Mary had been doing in the kitchen as I prepared the food. At long last I made sure that I served my family at the table and finally sat down to enjoy our meal. There was a moment of silent as our mouths were busy with the food. But Mary suddenly opened his mouth and said.
