Was I shaking?
Hell yeah, I was trembling inside as the man destined for me was staring at me with a straight face, not saying anything.
“Did you hear what I just said?” I asked him to be sure he heard what I said, and he isn’t spacing out on me.
“I heard you.” he answered.
“Okay. And?” I asked.
“You said what you wanted to say. I will take my leave now, I am only here to deliver these flowers to Anita.”
That was his reply, then he dropped the bouquet on the table and left.
He left me standing there in awe and shock.
I wanted to ask out loud what just happened, but there was no one beside me.
He left me standing all alone after I just told him I wanted him to be mine.
