I groaned out at how loud the person shouted.
I heard the door open and fooptsteps surrounded me.
“Doctor is she okay now? Is she out of danger?” I heard a worried voice that sounded like Lewis.
I didn’t want to believe my ears because they could deceive me, so I turned slowly to see with my eyes if it is really him or not.
I was stunned to see him standing right there, and he was staring at me with a look that I couldn’t explain what it was.
I thought he hated me, so why is he all concerned all of a sudden?
“It seems she is out of danger now.” I heard a different voice answer. It could be the doctor.
“Is there any need to still take her to the theatre for surgery?” This time, it wasn’t Lewis who spoke, but it was Zain who asked that question.
