ZAIN POV
I opened my eyes, and the first thing I saw was a familiar body structure walking right in front of me.
“Lila???” I called out her name, but she didn’t turn back to me. She kept walking, drifting away from me.
I couldn’t let her go, so I began to run right behind her, calling her name multiple times.
But she didn’t stop, neither did she turn to look at me.
I refused to stop, so I ran faster till I was so close to her.
Suddenly, she stopped walking.
When I saw she had stopped, I also stopped running and stood still in shock.
She is standing right in front of me, yet I had no idea what to do. My emotions were all over the place. I was feeling excited, happy, scared, contented, and so on.
I waited for her to turn to look at me, but she kept standing without saying a word
