Chapter 1

Nadia's P.O.V.

I am still here in my room. Ang dami ko kasing nilalagay na mga bagay sa face ko. Sa kasalukuyan kinakapalan ko pa lang ang kilay ko tapos mamaya isusuot ko na yung fake braces ko then my wig and for the finishing touch my big round glasses.

Oh! Before I forgot I'm gonna introduce myself muna. Hi guys! I'm Nadia Robertz Hossum. 15 and of course turning 16 this year. I'm the only girl from the Hossum's family, one of the richest in the Philippines.

"Baby Nadz, are you done?" tanong ni Mommy after knocking. Kani-kanina lang Nanny, kuya and Dad asked me the same question.

My whole family including Nanny knows why I became like this. And of course, I can't hide anything from them kasi sila na yung laging nandyan para sa'kin. And the fact that they witness everything, including how I fell apart.

I heard the door opened and footsteps heading in my direction.

"Baby tama na muna yan. Sabayan mo muna kaming mag breakfast." may paglalambing sa tonong sabi ni Mommy.

Oh shoot! I almost forgot! Ilang beses na pala akong 'di nakakasabay sa kanilang mag breakfast. Wearing things take time kasi.

Haaaaay! I feel bad for them na tuloy.

"Ok Mom! I'm gonna finish this muna" sabi ko at dali daling tinapos ang mga pinag gagawa ko.

"Thank you, baby! Hihintayin ka namin sa baba ah." she said then kissed me in my forehead.

'Hayyy Nadia! How could you forget about the people who had stayed with you through your up's and down?'

I hurriedly finished everything and then I went downstairs.

"My princess! Buti naman at sasabay ka na samin ngayon." may tuwa sa labing sabi ni Dad. I just smiled and kissed my father sa cheeks then tinignan ang heart throb kong kuya na si Luke Ivan Robertz Hossum.

"How long do you plan to keep this up?" may pag-aalalang tanong ni kuya after noticing I'm wearing my disguise again.

I just hugged him tightly bilang sagot, I earned a sigh from him and after a moment received a tight hug too.

Si kuya Ivan kasi ang numero unong tumutol sa pagpapanggap kong ito.Sobrang overprotective noh? I mean who wouldn't? And I understand naman, as an older sibling, you tend to worry over your younger sibling. Tsaka of course mag-aalala yan, because I'm the youngest plus the fact pa na nag-iisang babae ako sa aming tatlo.

"Nasaan po si kuya Tristan?" tanong ko nang 'di mahagilap ang panganay kong kapatid.

"Alam mo namang mahal na mahal nun si Kaye kaya malaman nasa kanya na naman yun." nakangiting sabi ni Dad.

Sa aking narinig, bigla akong nalungkot. Who wouldn't?

Kasi parang kahapon lang ako yung princess nya pero ngayon he already has his own queen na, and syempre prioritizes more than me. But that's understandable naman. All of us are destined for someone.

Hayyy! Why ba nag papaka-nega ako? I should be happy kasi sa wakas nahanap na nya yung love of his life.

After eating, gusto sana akong ihatid nila Dad at kuya pero syempre I refused, mahirap na baka mabuko pa ako. So, I ended up using a cab which is not bad naman.

" I wonder if this day would be any different." I whispered to myself while looking at the scenery we passed through the window.

After a few minutes, I arrive at my school. And a few distance away, nakita ko ang mga maldita sa school namin na nag-aabang na naman ng next target sa gate.

I sighed and took a step after a long moment of hesitation.

"Let's get this over with" I murmured, holding my backpack strap harder, I braced myself for things that will happen.

"Well...well...well..."
