A woman walked into a room shaking scanning through the room looking for something to grab, her gown swept the floor as she walked hurriedly to grab a bag, a pink bag which was covered in fur. She walked towards the wall and bent to get some things from a tiny wardrobe behind the wall. She brought out a powder ,some diapers, some napkins and lastly wipes. She immediately tucked them inside the pretty pink bag and left the room in a haste. She bumped into an old looking woman in a royal dress and A crown on her head, "Queen Rose!" "not now mother" she replied rushing to open the passage door, "what is wrong rose , I believe I have the right to know. Queen Rose heels on her shoes only did the talking cause she was running so fast towards the door. A woman dressed in a rough looking gown stood outside the gates of the castle holding a baby, the little child was so fragile and tiny all it did was cry . "here Ines" queen rose handed over the bag to her "please take care of her for me" she placed the bags on iness shoulders sounding very weak and stressed. "my queen I'm not sure I can do this, i have never taken care of a baby before" Ines panicked "please Ines, this is the only way I can save her life, you know what's happening in the kingdom" Ines looked at the little baby and shed a tear "she's so innocent " The queen sobbed and gently placed her lips on the little baby's cheek and kissed it softly and drew back . "My Queen I promise to raise her well , I will never let you or the King down" Ines vowed. "There is some money in the bag, enough to cover her for 6 months , I believe the war would have been over by that time. Ines sobbed , her eyes never left the baby who was crying loud. The Queen leaned over and kissed and Ines "May God protect you both" then she left them and went inside the castle. "oh princess you will be home with the queen soon when the war is over, but for the meantime you're with me now" Ines slowly grabbed her umbrella from where it laid on the floor and left. The whole castle was in fear because of the kingdoms which had teamed up to fight against them . Scotland and Edinburgh had a beef with King Ceaser of Connacht. The woman the queen bumped into earlier came up to her when she saw the queen coming. "Queen Rose where did you come from? " her hands holding a fan, scanning her eyes to and fro "Mother I had some important things to do , but I'm done with it now" Queen Rose replied, her face was sweaty and pale , she was regarded as the most beautiful woman in the kingdom. Her father was a Duke who served the Kings Father loyally, then the King's father son which is King Ceaser took an Interest in her and decided to marry her. She is also considered the most skillful woman in the palace, she was trained to fight and defend herself , she was a hunter , an intelligent woman , and had such brightly colored red hair. "And what is so important that you were rushing out ?" The mother of King Ceaser Queen Beatrice asked with suspicion " mother I gave someone the baby to care for until the war was over" she blurred out " you did what! " Queen Beatrice looked shocked "that was the right thing to do mother, I don't want any harm to come to the baby" Queen Rose started crying " does the king know about this? " Queen Beatrice asked "no mother I planned on informing him about it just now" Queen Beatrice raised her hands and slapped Queen Rose so hard that she fell to the floor "how could you do such a thing rose!, how dare you take the Kings Child and give it out" Queen Beatrice raised her voice even more " mother I didn't know what to do anymore I was scared* Queen Rose sobbed still on the floor. Deep voices were heard coming from afar, a man in an armor and a shield walked towards them accompanied by some soldiers. "My Queen!" he quickly walked towards her and placed his hands on the face where his father slapped, it made her wince in pain "Mother why did you do this?" she stood there fuming "your queen gave your baby to a woman to care for till the war was over without informing us about it, the royal heir that's who she gave out son" The king grew silent for some minutes, the queen was still sobbing harder " rose is it true?" he asked still bent towards her. "yes my king, I was scared with everything happening, the war I just want our little angel to be safe. As they were still talking there were noises, great noises . Some guards were rushing towards the king in horror " We are getting attacked sire" The king gave a shout " prepare yourselves now soldiers we are going into war now" The king and the soldiers marched forward each of them in a full body armor with shields and defence tools for the war. Queen Rose and Queen Beatrice started running to safeguard the children the women and the slaves from harm. "come here children" queen rose ushered them in a dark room which was hidden underground the palace . There were 10 rooms and each of the room were wide enough to hold at least 50 persons. All was safeguarded there , they both panicked , you could know from the expressions on their faces. Queen Beatrice was also in fear as she thought of her son, the king's safety. Queen Rose was staying with her comforting her when she heard a child's noise from outside. "I hear a little child's voice" she pulled away from the. Queen and opened the door looking for the child, she sighted him in a corner bent crying silently. "my boy what are you doing here? " she questioned " i-i followed my dad here secretly but I lost him" he said still sobbing " who's your dad?" she bent and comforted him , cleaning his tears with her handkerchief. "King Arnold" the queen stared at the little boy in horror. King Arnold was the king, king Ceaser her son and the entire kingdom was fighting against " will you take me to my dad?" he asked crying out loud "shh honey shh , don't make a noise I beg you" she touches his cheek softly. She walked towards the room with the boy , queen Beatrice took the boy away from her as she locked the door. "who's this boy?" Queen Beatrice asked "he's, uh , mother please try to stay calm when I tell you" she pleaded with her eyes. "ok I will" queen Beatrice said looking at the boy rudely "he's king Arnold's child" "what!!" she shouted at the top of her voice "mother!, be quiet" "you brought the enemies so. here what on earth were you thinking?" she blurted out! "mother he is just a child please, it's his father who is against us not him" The little boy cried even more loud " I told Daddy to leave you all alone but he refused ha said, he said I'm too small to tell him what to do" he held on to queen rose gown tightly scared "calm down honey shush it's fine" she patted him gently in his back. "I don't totally agree why this rose I don't at all" queen Beatrice said and turned her back from rose.
