This novel is one for readers coming of age, hence the age restrictions are 13 onwards. However, there is no doubt that the novel contains some extent of mature and explicit content. Even though the setting of the novel falls in a Muslim family, there is no doubt that the way the story is portrayed and the characters shown are not representing their identity. This can be due to the character's individual weaknesses or a deliberation by the author. Therefore, the author pleads with the readers not to stereotype regarding this matter. Mount Veracity holds a very special place in my heart. It is a story of consequence, revelation and miseries, but at the same time, it is so beautiful that you would want to lose yourself in the pain. It is the third novel I weaved in my head, and the second one coming to life. There is a lot of reason behind me creating this piece of struggle and teardrops, but now that I am over those emotions, I would rather bury them in the deepest corners of the earth. This book came into existence in 2019, a year when despite everything felt right, I had the feel of an impending doom, a thing that would be out of my control and reach. And then, there we were, in the two-year-era of masking our faces and our emotions for the sake of keeping others safe. During this time, I began patching up pieces of this book, and finally, today, I am proud to be writing down my ponderings in the most hidden, yet the most exposed way possible. I am grateful to my Lord for showing me this day when I thought I would never be seeing it. I am grateful for my parents, who despite their own battles, tried their best to be a better parent to me. And lastly, I thank all the people guided me with little words of wisdom, not even knowing that every syllable they let of their throats purified my black heart. I'd want to emphasize that this work is entirely the product of my imagination, and any resemblance or similitude to any of the characters is entirely coincidental. I'd also like to point out that this work contains some descriptions that may elicit a negative reaction, so readers should proceed with caution.
