Killian’s POV
Sam didn’t stop dragging me until we’d crossed a field of lawns and cut through one of the narrow walkways that led to a tall, towering building with a huge signage that identified it as the engineering block.
He kept pulling me until we were out of sight, only then did he release me.
I could have so easily pulled myself out of his grip if I wanted to, I didn’t even need to employ much of my strength to achieve that but I didn’t and let him drag me along instead.
When we finally stopped, he let out a dramatic exhale and then patted his chest as if someone had chased him down or like he’d just survived a dangerous ordeal.
“Jesus, Killian. What the f**k?”
“What?”
The whole way here, u had been drowning and even now that we had stilled our motions, my frown didn’t ease.
