Ember's POV
"You're here too," Fred muttered coldly when he saw Mira, as though someone had shoved a wet rag down his throat.
It only caused Mira's smile to brighten and she nodded vigorously, "Yes, I'm here too."
She was enjoying this.
From the expression on Mira's face, I could tell she absolutely liked getting under Fred's skin.
Many times in the past, when I chose to let sleeping dogs lie still, Mira didn't support my decisions and she would take it upon herself to ensure Fred got the payback he deserved.
She disliked him just like I did, if not more and as much as I was happy to see him get prickled and become irritated, I knew Mira was too and worse, Fred couldn't do a thing against her.
