Everyone waited with bated breaths as the call rang once, then twice, including me.
My eyes were glued to Cole's phone, just like the others were.
After the fifth ring and a timeframe that was short but felt like forever, the call finally connected.
"How unexpected this is," Vince drawled out the moment he picked up, voice riddled with sarcasm that was enough to fuel anyone's anger.
Cole kept his cool, I did too.
"One of your men or shall I say 'your men' abducted a girl tonight." Cole began.
