Velma spot him sitting at one of the tables with the menu in his hand and look around spotting some of the female customers drooling over the both of them, even those with their boyfriends couldn’t help but admire their dazzling presence.

Nelson has a lot of pictures of him on the Internet and is known as one of the most eligible wealthy bachelor in the world but no one has been able to interview him or get in close contact with him.

Velma sighed knowing that her cafe is going to get unnecessary attention because of his visit today and signal to the staff to control the customers before approaching him.

“Mr. Turner” she called and nods her head in greeting, Sue bowed her head down not daring to look into their eyes and tries to escape but Velma pull her back.

“Did you take the stairs?” Nelson questioned holding a cup of coffee to his lips and blows gently on it.

“How…” Velma immediately stops Sue with a hand over her mouth and gave a wry smile

“I see you must be here to try one of our drinks, you shouldn’t have troubled yourself though” she said hinting that she is dissatisfied with his presence here but Nelson didn’t budge.

Nelson glances at Sue to excuse them and she storm away quickly while Mathieu also step away from them and went to take a seat at another table.

Velma took a seat in front of him and that cause others to wonder what kind of relationship the two have with each other but he is not bothered by that.

“Your staff rushed in to call you immediately I came in but you only returned after eight minutes” Nelson begin and Velma can’t believe he is complaining to her when he is the one who dropped a visit on her without notice

“Do you have any business to attend to around here?” she asked instead trying to make him leave as soon as possible.

“I want VA to become one of our affiliated companies” Nelson expressed staying his intentions clearly and Velma is taken aback to hear his offer.

SILVER is a big corporation and a lot of companies which to be affiliated with them but it is not something a small company like hers should dream of.

“You will have sole control over everything and make all decisions yourself but in return you will head and work in developing our new subsidiary" Nelson continued and bought out a well prepared contract then push it towards her.

“I don’t…”

“You can take all the time you need to think about it and read through the contract, you can also make changes to anything that is not satisfactory enough for you” he quickly interrupt her words before she reject his offer.

“Why do you want to work with us?” Velma queried not taking the document still, his company is so established and has the capability to hire the best potter in the world to work for them, and there is no reason why he would ask her instead.

“Because I love your works” he answered calmly

“You have never seen any of my works, have you?” Velma questioned not believing he could tell a lie with such a straight face.

“You can send a few over for me to check them then” he responded and Velma couldn’t believe her ears.

He made such a good offer to her and came over to meet her personally to discuss when he could have sent one o his subordinates to meet with her and even claimed to love her works when he hasn’t seen any.

Surely, there is something up with his strange offer, it is definitely too good to be true.

“What is the actual reason for your offer?” she questioned holding the contract in her hands.

“I am not going to agree if you don’t tell me the truth” she added

“Do I need to give you a reason for the decisions I make? You seems to know me more than I do myself” he said and lean away from seat.

“I was just…I will get back to you” Velma is forced to say but keep staring at him suspiciously

“My coffee has gone cold” he told her while keeping his gaze on her.

Velma turns to ask Sue to help get him another cup of coffee but was startled as he grabbed her hand across the table and pulls her close

“I want you to make it” he stated and Velma gasped at his sudden act.

She withdraws her hand as he hesitantly let go and stand up to go get him a cup of coffee like he wanted.

“I added a little honey” she informed him as she got close with the coffee in a small tray remembering when she had once served him before her marriage to Edith and how he liked it.

Velma stretch forth the cup to him and her hand brushed pass his, she quickly retract her hands and sat down hoping he leaves soon.

“Why aren’t you leaving yet?” Velma questioned after a few minutes and he still hasn’t finished the drink.

“I am hungry” Nelson answered as he dropped the cup in his hand and lean forward, Velma pull back puzzled.

She checked the time and realized it's lunch time already and turned back to him, Nelson continued to stare at her making her nervous and she stood up to get him some dessert

“You can make do with this, we don’t serve food here” she said and moves closer to place the plate in front of him hoping he will leave immediately after having that

Someone bumped into Velma accidentally at that moment and caused her to fall into Nelson’s waiting arms; she felt her buttock touch his laps and gasped out loud.

Velma stared into Nelson’s insentient but mesmeric green eyes and they seem to appear to be looking at her lovingly, she blinked her eyes to see if she had just imagined that and realized she was still on his laps holding the tray up.

She attempt to get up but Nelson had his hand on her waist and a smirk appeared on his face, it seem like a grin but a threatening one

“What are you doing Mr. Turner?” she whimpered

“You are the one who throw yourself at me”

He whispered into her ears and fear rush through her spine, she could feel her body shivered under the tone of his threat.

She can’t believe he will say such things without feeling embarrassed

He usually hates a woman trying to force herself on him but now he is saying that like it’s nothing bad.

It seemed everything has changed from the way she used to know it or perhaps there is something she had missed then.

She felt his hand went up her neck taking her out of her thoughts and it move to cowered, in a panic that he might try to strangle her up, Velma let go of the tray dropping it and jump out of his legs.

She tried to escape away from him immediately but his hoarse scary voice called her back

“The contract” he reminded displeased with the way she looked at him in fear

Velma hurried back to pick it up and exit the cafe in the flash of an eye and didn’t stop until she got to a safe corner.

Nelson watch her tremble in fear as she run away from him and pursed his lips taking a low breathe, he turn to glance outside the window and Mathieu’s eyes followed in the same direction.

He quickly understands and goes out to get the stalker who has apparently being sent to keep watch on her.

Sue hurried back to Velma’s office after seeing Nelson and Mathieu off and begins to interrogate her on why the two suddenly came to visit her.

Velma is lost in thought for a few minutes and didn’t give her an answer, she stare at the contract in front of her wondering if she made a mistake with the things she remembered finding it hard to believe that Nelson will change so much in such a short time.

“Boss, are you okay?” Sue queried concerned and Velma assured her that all is fine.

“He wants to work with us” Velma said summarizing the whole purpose of his visit.

Sue took a seat after hearing that and gaze at Velma with doubts, it just doesn’t make sense for the Chairman to come down to their small company just to ask them to work with him.

“Are you sure that’s all? You two seem close” Sue said teasing her

“You must be blind, how on earth did you deduct that as being close? Also, he is my brother-in-law” Velma reminded her but she only shrugged.

“Everyone knows your husband is close with his secretary, it wouldn’t make a difference if you are also in a close relationship with his cousin” she muttered.

While Velma stays at home as a housewife, Betty is going around acting the wife role with Edith and hinting to everyone that cares that she is the one Edith actually loves.

Everyone is aware of their controversial relationship and because of the rumors created by Betty that Velma came in between her and Edith, everyone sides her and no one cares to listen to Velma’s side of the story

“I am not going to stoop to their level and do something humiliating” Velma refrain her and thought of a way Nelson’s offer might actually help her.

She knows of Edith’s ambition to take over the Turner’s empire and become SILVER chairman but his grandfather has long declared his successor leaving him with no choice.

If she works with Nelson then it’s just like pouring salt on his injury, she can easily divorce him after taking what belongs to her and gain the power she need in no time.

Without the studio and cafe, she is sure M hotel is going to struggle and she will surely use that to her advantage but first she needs to restore her reputation
