Before you freak out and think you’d never be able to create a website, take a deep breath. It isn’t as hard as you think. All authors should have their own websites, particularly if their books are in electronic format. E-book readers buy books online, so you want them to be able to find you! And you want your own personal URL to help them do it. By personal, I mean something like jmsnyder.com. Your name in a URL, because if you ask readers to remember something lengthy like geocities.com/Athens/Delphi/2345 that has nothing in it indicating the site belongs to you, they aren’t going to bother. There are many places you can get a free website or blog, and you can be up and running with no knowledge of coding at all. Even if you go with a free site, though, you should buy your own domain
