The only way to be a writer is to write. An author is considered published with only one book to his name, but rarely will that one title earn the income you hope to receive writing.
Publishing one book is a good start. But I doubt you only have one story to tell. After your book is published, don’t rest on your laurels—market and promote it for a few months, then release another book. The only way to stay in front of readers is to keep writing.
