Edin and I have been travelling for days now and to my relief, his crude archaic healing method worked. The wound is not completely healed as I can feel, there is a little more to do to get there but I am no longer leaking blood at every opportunity. For the first day after the healing, I was woozy and tired and I admit that I continued walking only because Edin was there to taunt me. If I was alone and did not mind showing any weaknesses, I am unsure if I would have continued travelling. After the first rough day however, my progress was a lot better.
