My whole body aches and it"s everything I can do not to camp out in the bathroom and avoid people. I shuffle up in the bed and lean against the wall, but even that"s almost too much effort. I groan and rub my temple, already hoping the world will swallow me up and I can die rather than put up with this. The door swings open and Nik walks in with Matia on his heels. She bounces up onto the bed and goes onto her back, waving her feet in the air and demanding scratches. At least that won"t take too much energy on my part.
