Running, panting, and breathing heavily with the thoughts of not giving up, she kept on pushing. She's the last in lane and others have already passed her. Yet, she's getting weak and anxious.  No matter how hard she tried to keep her head up, she saw herself getting weaker.  She's not bothered about the fact that she's the last, after all, they're all different from her. It's okay for them to get the best warrior's position because they don't get tired easily, but she's different from them. She's something else. That's why they hated her in the Pack. Bullied and reminded of the fact that her mother cheated with a human to bore her. The main reason why her life is miserable. She hated her life. It's full of agony. At the thought of that, she hissed in frustration. She has never met her mother. Rumor had it that her mother was the goddess and the Luna of the pack until the day she was captured by the hunters.  The pack searched for her for days, months, and years. Yet, she was never found. Not until she returned to the pack on her own with a pregnant woman. Rumor has it that she has a quick intimate with her Alpha so everyone will believe that he's the father.  But when she was born, she had no wolf. She was born in a human form, and only a little thing is special about her.  Instantly, her mother was banished immediately after her birth and the Alpha, her father died two years later. Growing up in the pack and learning everything about her birth and the reason she's the only different one in the pack is one of the things that pain her. They bullied her, tortured her, mocked her and never stop throwing abusive word at her. It's the worst fate the moon goddess decided on her. She hates her. Nonetheless, she never gives up. She took it upon herself to prove herself worthy. She joined the pack warriors because this is the only way she can train herself. She was determined and nothing was going to stop her. All pack warriors had been given their missions and they all passed, but over the years, she had waited to be given an opportunity to prove her worth but none of this ever happens. They thought she was weak. It's just like her existence means nothing. Everyone sees her as nothing but a total disaster to the pack and no one wants to be her friend. All she wanted was just to prove to everyone that she can do something too. She's borne by a werewolf but fathered by a human, she should be given a chance too.  She stops running when she hears a crying voice. They had been given a task, a task to run about 245 miles around the forest. The last being would get the worst punishment ever. She could've been shy back. She had the chance to step out. However, she didn't. She was determined and nothing was going to stop her. She isn't a coward. No doubt, they all know she's gonna be the last. That's because she has always been. She has never succeeded in everything. Nonetheless, she wasn't discouraged. "Over here, please help." The voice was tiny but a little clear to her. She walked to the direction of the voice, yet she didn't see anyone. She looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. However, it was futile. She hissed in irritation, and concluded in her mind that she must be day dreaming. Slowly, she turned back toward the direction she was coming from. She hadn't taken a step when she felt someone tapping her from below. She jolted back, and looked down to examine the things that touched her. It was a little fairy, who had gotten trapped in a web and couldn't get herself out. "You poor thing." She pity the little fairy. “Don't Worry, I'm going to help you.” she said, and  squatted down. Slowly set the tiny fairy free.  The fairy appreciated her, "Thank you beautiful Miss!" And she could hear the happiness in her voice. Slowly, the fairy started levitating with her bright wing. She watches the fairy flying off and she stands up again. That's when her brain sent the signal to her that she's on a mission. She's on task and she's already late.  She's pretty sure the other warriors have already reached the pack. That means she would be punished again. Without hesitation, she ran off again. Her name is Ashina, the name that means female wolf but she is not one. She was born by the luna of the pack but fathered by a human who isn't known.  Ashina's life isn't really the best as she's a loner. Though, she just clocked nineteen. She's brave, and fearless. One more thing about her, she doesn't give up.  Well, maybe she's brave in her own world as no one cares to know what's really it is about her. Life is harsh on her. Being treated differently because of the circumstances surrounding her birth, Ashina has nowhere to go so she has to keep enduring all the pain. She was also hoping that one day, an alpha will find her. Perhaps, he might be merciful enough to take her away from the pack.  But these are just tiny little dreams of hers. No one likes her in her pack.  How does she expect herself to be mated to any Alpha?  Watching all other Luna's meeting their Mate and get happily together, Ashina envied them so much. Maybe, she's just gonna stay in the pack as a single human for the rest of her life. After all, she's different from all of them. As she reached the pack, she was welcomed with the harsh voice of Harrison. "You're late again! What did you do?"  and she just bowed her head. "I'm sorry," She apologized. “I saw a little fairy got caught in a nail trapped and thought it'd be good to help.” Harrison is the leader of the pack warriors, and he's very strict. Not strict to everyone though, he's just too strict and cold to Ashina. That's because of her nature. He won't have accepted her to join his warriors league, but he was left with no other option. Maybe, taking advantage of the little things about her is the reason he accepted her. Without hesitation, Harrison made to flog her with the cane in his hand. It's not just any normal cane, one stroke of it on your body and there's blood gushing out immediately.  He didn't always hesitate to punish anyone who angered him, more reason he earned that position as a leader.  A lady approaches him, holding his hand, and stopping him from hitting Ashina who already had her head down in anticipation. Tears had tried running down her cheeks but she pulled it back with everything in her. If there's anything she shouldn't do, it's crying. If her tears touch the ground, they turn into tiny diamonds and it hurts her eyes. That's why she always stops herself from crying. Waking up the next day after crying, she always has her eyes as red as that of a devil and sometimes, she can't see clearly for the next couple of days. "Harrison! You know she can't bleed.” The woman said. “She's already miserable, don't get things worse and let this slide, will you?"  The lady that approached them is Laura. She's the beta female and Harrison's mate.  She doesn't always get involved in the pack business as that's the rule, but she's always around Harrison to remind him of what disaster it will be if he ever punishes Ashina.  Turning to Ashina she asked, "Are you gonna keep kneeling there or just walk away?" Standing up and without a word, she walks off.  Ashina isn't really always worried about being caned. Of Course, no one in the pack dares to hurt her to the extent of her bleeding.  The scent of her blood can go as far as outside the pack and when this happens, Ashina is not only the one in danger, the whole pack is in danger too.
