Yikes!!!" a dark haired girl yelled, standing in front of the oven that couldn't control all of the smoke coming out from it, the girl waved off the smoke continuously until she was able to stick her head in the oven and bring out the disaster she made. She stared at it with dissatisfaction and a bit of moist begin to appear in her beautiful emerald green eyes. The Michaels a very formidable family in the city of Vulcar, the only family that shakes the city to its roots, are hosting a party to celebrate their company's 19th year anniversary as well as their daughter's 19th year birthday. Adrian Michaels popularly known as BIG AM was all smiles while holding his wife gently by the waist and conversing with the guests, he kept on checking his wrist watch which didn't go unnoticed by Georgia his wife and she whispered in his ear "Honey stay calm, you know ladies take a lot of time" she then smiled at him, Adrian sighed and signaled a waiter to come over then he gave the waiter orders who was nodding vigorously at every sentence his employer said. "Look how beautiful you are my dear lulu, you look like a blooming flower" Grace said with a satisfied sigh, Grace has been working for The Michaels since the day Lucinda was born and the both of them are pretty close, Lucinda was closer to Grace than she ever was to her own mother. "Grace why does my dad have to be all extravagant about certain things, I mean I wouldn't mind if I just get a happy birthday song and we all forget about this day " Lucinda said in a quiet voice, just as Grace was about to say something there was a knock on the door, she stood up and saw a waiter "Mr Michaels would like for his daughter to make an appearance now" the waiter said with a slight bow and left when Grace nodded in affirmation then she locked the door and took Lucinda's hands and made her stand, " For goodness sake we're not royalty, what is happening in this house" Lucinda laughed gently after her words she then hugged Grace, " Lulu if we're acting like this then what is gonna happen on your wedding day?" Grace said with a giggle and soon both ladies started giggling. As Lucinda made her way down the stairs the spotlight was concentrated on her as all eager and hungry eyes fell on her making her nervous and gulping. BIG A.M watched his daughter in admiration while Georgia had a satisfied look on her face, "Happy 19th birthday my lily" Adrian said while hugging his daughter and in reply she said "Happy 19th anniversary BIG A.M" they both chuckled and broke the hug, she then proceed to hug her mom "My baby is all grown up and I'm so proud of you" Georgia said beaming, "thank you, mom." Lucinda replied with a sad smile.... "come on! ,let the party begin!!" Adrian cheered loudly and soon the DJ was already getting people in the groove since it was someone's birthday it shouldn't all be that boring. Lucinda saw some of her school mates and immediately got the idea that they probably came with their parents because most of them are in partnership with her dad and that they didn't come for her birthday... soon a couple of her school mates tried striking a conversation with her which wasn't her thing as she always blacks out and doesn't know what to say, she avoided a few people and ran straight to the kitchen... "I knew I'd find you here" grace said while coming in with a tray in her hands, "why can't they just eat the food, take some drinks and forget I'm the main character of tonight, not technically the main character but still..." Lucinda complained while grace just brushed past her, took a cookie and shoved it gently into her mouth making her groan,"Lulu, you're 19 now, and people this age are usually wild and no I'm not saying you should turn into some animal.." Grace said with a chuckle making Lucinda look her with the "spill the beans" face...."I'm saying get out there have fun and finally I may rest in peace,you know how much happy I get when I see you happy". Outside the majestic looking mansion, a slick looking motorcycle made way into the compound making most of the teenagers present gawk with envy... the rider under a customized ghost face helmet then proceeded to park the bike and join in the fun happening inside. It was time to cut the expensively huge cake that BIG AM ordered for so everyone gathered round and watched in anticipation not because they haven't seen people cutting a cake before but because they were eager to taste the cake as it was made by the most famous baker in all of vulcar, she never baked for anyone unless she took a liking into them, most people find it arrogant but she's still very much famous and living in wealth. Lucinda was standing close to her parents ready to cut the cake with her dad holding her hand while he gave some speech about the many success that is yet to come his way, and then the cake was cut and the crowd began to cheer with Lucinda feeling a bit anxious she began using her eyes to search for Grace but her attention landed on "ghost face?".
