I sent a message to Dylan last night but she didn't reply. I waited for a whole hour but I got no reply so I decided to go to sleep. if she thinks I'm simply going to give up just because she is ignoring me then she has another thing coming. I know she read it so she knows my intentions. I won't give up until I have her on my side again I just have to work hard to get her. She invited me to a lunch date she'll be having with his brother and his wife yesterday before s**t went down and she hasn't called to tell me to not come with her anymore so I guess I'm still going with her then.

I slept late last night so I'm still sleepy as hell but I did agree to go with Dylan so no sleeping till late today. I have to wake up like everyone else.

I'm actually excited to see her today, I want to see how she'll react after what happened between us yesterday. This will be a lot of fun.

I get up then get ready to go there when I get a text from Dylan.

hey Babu! I just want 2 tell u tht u don't hv 2 come with me 2 c Tommy n Lenny if u're busy. I totally understand.

I laugh at her poor tries to stop me from seeing her today. No f*****g way little Babu. I hate it when she texts like this, making words short like she's too busy to talk to me. She knows this of course but doesn't care, she does it every time even though she's not good at it. If she's going to be a little brat then I'll do exactly what she doesn't want me to.

No I'm coming. I don't have anything to do today plus I like Lenny Kravitz.

I text back knowing too well she'll get annoyed with me besides I really do like Lenny Kravitz. I call her by her full name because that's what she told me her name was when we first met.

Okay it's also because Dylan hates it.

If you don't want me there then why did you invite me?

Dn't b silly I was just making sure u're ok with coming with me.

30 minutes later I'm standing in the dining room in Tommy and Lennys house. It is beautiful and homey. It's pretty vintage too in a stylish kinda way. It is also big, like really big. If I lived in a house this big I'd probably use only two rooms. I just don't see the need for so much space especially since they live alone.

"Oh Mica it's like you get more beautiful every time meet you" Lenny smiles kissing my cheeks. I smile at her awkwardly, did I mention I'm horrible at receiving compliments.

"Thank you, you're the beautiful one"

"Thank you dear come sit we're ready to eat"

"It's smells great Lenny thanks for having us" says Dylan placing a bowl of salad on the table.

"Thanks for coming we missed you" they smile at each other slightly while surely remembering the reason they don't get together as much as before. Tommy comes back from receiving a phone call he took when we arrived. He said it was work before disappearing somewhere inside of their many rooms.

"Glad you guys could make it today" he says to us taking his seat besides his wife.

"I never turn down food" I chuckle and they all laugh. Dylan takes a seat near me out of habit not seeing that I'm willing to take advantage of the blessing. We start dishing up and I just put a steak and salad on my plate before letting my hand fall under the table. I put it on Dylan's knee not moving it even a little. She chokes on her wine coughing before she can try to control herself. I smile finally lifting my hand up, patting her on the back.

"Are you alright sweetie"I ask trying so hard not to laugh. She is so sensitive I didn't even do that much but you'd think I did something huge by the blush on her face.

"I'm.. " she clears her throat "I'm okay thanks"

"What have you guys been up to" Tommy asks trying to make conversation.

"Nothing much, you?" Dylan answers not giving me a chance to answer for myself.

"Well we have an announcement to make"

"Let's hear it, what's up"

"We're finally having a baby" Lenny says happily grabbing her husband's hand and then holds it tight a smile adorning her pretty face. When they got married they immediately wanted kids but they couldn't have them and they've been trying for a very long time.

I'm happy for them but when I look at Dylan the happiness is wiped out of my face. She is clutching on her necklace with a crestfallen look on her face.

"I'm happy for you guys do you know the gender yet" she asks trying to put on a brave act. The couple notices but they don't say anything about it.

"We want it to be a surprise, we don't want to know"

"I'm happy for you guys I'll be the greatest aunt ever." Even though she says it with a smile there is unmistakable sorrow in her eyes.

I snake my hand underneath the table again and this time I grab her hand squeezing it in mine.

I see you Babu.

And I'm here for you.

I'll make everything better for you I promise.
