Chapter Thirty-Eight

SIENNA'S POV

After a restless nights sleep due to feeling a little sore and aching all over I finally gave up on sleep when my wrist woke me again around half four in the morning. I got up and was surprised I successfully escaped the room without disturbing Ethan. I managed to grab my bag as well.. but apperently I wasn't the only one up as I see Maria in the landing coming back up stairs with bottle.

"Morning, any chance I could borrow your make up?" I ask since no doubt there be bruising to be covered up this morning I think to myself.

"Yeah, give me two minutes and I will grab it for you once I've given this to sid. If you want I can help you with your make up" Maria says.

"No, its alright you try get some more sleep if Sid is giving Jordan his bottle. I'm sure I can manage with the make up" I say.

"Okay, hang on then" Maria says going back into the room and I stand there waiting until she comes back out with the make up bag as she says "Come on let's go, I'm not even tired. I want to check your injury anyway".

"You don't have to" I say.

"Yes I do, if it was the other way round you would insist. So let me help you after all us girls need to stick together" Maria says

"Okay" I say and we head for the bathroom.

"Okay, your face looks a little more bruised this morning but we can work with that" Maria says as soon as she clocks my face with the light on.

"Let me see" I say going to the mirror and I see there's a bruise around the cut that goes down a little by the side of the eye.

"Yeah its not bad at all.. I think my wrist might be more bruised though since it kept waking me up" I say lifting my arm sleep up to have a look and just like I thought bruising was starting to come out.

"Ooo, that doesn't look good are you sure its not broken?" Maria says

"Its just badly bruised and badly spranged.. Trust me, I had a feel yesterday and could just tell.. it will take a few days to go down" I say.

"Okay, well is there anywhere else you think there might be bruising?" Maria asks

"I dunno, anywhere could have a bruise to be fair my whole body took a few knocks going down them stairs. I ache all over today" I say.

"Okay well let's check you over head to toe. I can check the back for you to be sure" Maria says

"You can check my back, but don't look at my stomach. I don't like it when people look at my stomach because I find it revolting with the scars" I say as u mentally picture it and I can tell my face has screwed up with disgust just from the mental imagine.

"Let me see. I've been using this great oil that has really helped my stretch marks see" Maria says showing me her own stomach and you can tell the stretch marks are really starting to fade.

"Yeah but that's stretch marks not scars from being attacked with a knife in multiple places followed by operation a scar from incisions also leaving nasty scars" I say

"Nah, look it says for stretch marks and scars" Here you have this bottle i have more, give it ago" Maria says handing it to me.

"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try it. Thank you" I say.

"Don't be daft, now come on I will do my best to not look at your stomach but show me your back" Maria says.

I turn around so she can see my back as I lift my top to show Maria my back, I look at the front and its exactly how it always is disgusting I think to myself. But then I clock a bruise at the side.

"Oh Jesus christ thats one hell of a bruise on the side" I say and Maria says yeah its at the side on the back it doesn't look to pretty. Damn you sure hold a strong pain fresh hold. I'd be a crying mess doped up on painkillers feeling sorry for myself. Your something else"

"I don't feel like something else. I just try to ignore it. I use to take loads of painkillers until that fatal night and then I thought I deserved to feel the pain and this doesn't feel as painful as that did" I say.

"No you don't. So don't just settle for the pain. I can go out get you some good painkillers if you want" Maria says

"Its alright, I can grab something later before we leave" I say.

"Okay let me help you with your make up and hair before you get changed. What are you wearing today? That way we can match you all up with the make up" Maria say.

ETHAN'S POV

"Wakey, Wakey, it's time to get up now, so we can get ready for our trip" I hear Sienna says as she taps my arm.

I open my eyes as I pull Sienna in for a morning hug and notice she is all dressed and ready for the day. When did she sneak out of bed I think to myself as I say "Morning princess".

"You need to get up and I need to go wake the others. Hurry and get ready, I'm making breakfast" Sienna says looking at me as she trys to sit up again.

"But I wanted a morning cuddle" I say taking Siennas hand as I sit up.

"You can have one later" Sienna says laughing at me.

"One kiss then" I say bargaining with Sienna

"Only one kiss" Sienna says so I claim Siennas sweet mouth within a second before she can say anything else. I wrap my arms around Sienna as I deepens the kiss and she moans a second later which I love when she does this just from a kiss. Her arms come around my neck before her fingers snake through my hair. After a few more moments Sienna breaks off the kiss and I smile at Sienna keeps her in my arms as I say "Thats the best way to wake up, be better if we skip breakfast and have a few more moments to cuddle. Why are you awake so early anyway?" I ask.

"Just woke up early, decided to get up and ready.. now stop being cheeky and get up" Sienna says smiling at me.. "Don't tell me you didn't enjoy that kiss because I know you did" I say as Sienna runs her hands down my arms as she watches what she does and says "I did, but we can't be late. Up now otherwise, I will have to share with Charlie tonight. He doesn't delay everyone when being woken up".

"No, your all mine" I say kissing Sienna cheek before letting her go and she laughs as she gets up saying "I expect you down first since I woke you up first"

"Okay, by the way you look beautiful this morning" I say as Sienna starts walking to the door.

"You don't look bad yourself. Although you have bad bed hair this morning" Sienna says stopping by the door and she has a devilish smile on her face.

"Hmm, I'm sure it's more a new fashion your trying to start off" I say laughing as I stand up and Sienna just laughs as she exits the room.

I get ready in record time before heading downstairs but to my utter disbelief Harry is already downstairs being scolded by Sienna who tells him "Here, take the coffee and go get ready. Your in my way and I'm going to burn the bacon in a minute"

"You was happy a moment ago. Now your grumpy, I don't like a grumpy princess. I'm going to get dressed when I come back down I want to see you happy again" Harry grumbles before kissing Siennas cheek and goes to walk out the kitchen.

"I just don't want to burn everyone's breakfast" Sienna says.

"Princess its breakfast, stop stressing worse case we grab breakfast on the road" Harry says walking out the kitchen before he says to me "Help our princess out"

"Dont worry, I can have our princess smiling again before you come back down" I say and I hear the toaster popping up with the toast that smells burnt.

"Just great, Do you really hate me or something. Seriously you couldn't just help me out this morning" Sienna says grumbling pointing upwards and I'm assuming she is talking to God or something as I walk over taking the spatula out of her hands I say "Get yourself a drink sit down and let me take over".

"No, I wanted to make everyone breakfast. I can't even get that right" Sienna says as I quickly take the bacon off the heat before that burns as well.

"It doesn't matter" I say then I clock a bandage on Siennas wrist and hand and I wonder how I didn't notice that before.

"It does matter. Here give me back that" Sienna says trying to take the spatula back.

"Uh, whats this?" I ask pointing to Siennas hand.

"It's just badly bruised from falling down the stairs. It's nothing" Sienna says taking the spatula back whislt I'm distracted.

I quickly take it back whilst saying "No, your injured. No wonder your freaking burning stuff with your hand and wrist bandaged up. Go sit and rest. I've got this. If you really want to do something to help you can make me a drink" I say whilst seeing what I have to work with and realise I need to quickly save the scramble eggs.

I turn everything down from high as Sienna says "But" and I cut her off saying "No, buts. When your not so battered up you can then cook us all breakfast. Until then stop being stubborn and let me look after you" I say

"But, I really wanted to do something nice" Sienna says and I turn to face Sienna but she has already walked over to make us drinks looking disappointed

"I know and that is what makes you so amazing because even when life throws you lemons your always thinking of others. But your so stubborn that you hate accepting help. Just let us help for once" I say

"I knew there was a reason I really liked you" Maria says as she comes into the kitchen

"Thanks" I say.

"I was going to help Sienna but Jordan has been a pickle this morning, he has literally just settled and I let Sid get some more sleep. You need a hand with breakfast?" Maria says

"Nah, I'm good. You two just chill whilst the others get ready" I say

Whilst they sit down at the table and start talking, I start to sort the breakfast stuff not paying much attention until we all hear the front door and then I hear Maria hurridly say "Dont me mad at me but I told Sid about all the bruises. He went out to get you some painkillers and told me not to tell you"

Then in the next second Sid walks in and I turn round about to say something but Sid says "Now don't go getting mad, but don't think I don't know how much of a state your in from that fall yesterday because I know it all.. Maria told me as she was worried. You have two options. One you take the pain meds I brought you. Two, failing that we don't go anywhere until you see a doctor that isn't yourself".

I look at Sienna who says "Fine, give me the meds. I was going to stop by a shop anyway" and I raise my eyebrow at her as I say "And you tried to make breakfast. No wonder your grumpy if your in pain" as Sid passes Sienna a bag full of stuff.

"Sienna pulls out a bottle of water followed by some painkillers and takes them without saying anything else.

"Breakfast will be ready in ten minutes" I say turning back to the cooker to finish off breakfast

"Great, I'm starving" I hear Charlie say

"Morning Charlie" Maria says followed by Sid saying "I'm hungry as well".

Then I hear someone get up and I hear Charlie say "Where are you going princess, you not hungry?"

"I will be back in a minute" Sienna says

"Okay" Charlie says then once Sienna has left the room Charlie says "Whats wrong with Sienna?"

"She is just being her usual stubborn self" I say.

"Hey, you all forget she was pretty independent beforehand. No independent women likes to admit they need help" Maria says

"You want us to sit back and just let Sienna suffer?" Sid asks.

"Don't start with me. I didn't say that. I told you so you could help. Maybe you could of said it a little nicer" Maria says standing up and walking out the kitchen herself.. "Bloody great now Maria is pissed at me" Sid says

"How about everyone just takes a breather. Its ment to be a nice day anyway" Charlie says

"Well it could of all been avoided if Sienna wasn't so stubborn" I say agreeing with Sid.

"Tell you what, you all go to London. I can't piss you all off anymore then" I hear Sienna say and I turn around to see Sienna walking back into the kitchen as she grabs her coffee looking totally pissed off.

"I didn't mean it like that" I say.

"You did, but it doesn't matter anymore" Sienna says then she storm's back out.

"Wow, whats going on?" I hear Harry says in the hallway.

"It's all me once again. I can't get breakfast right. I can't get anything right. I should of just stayed away and never come back. You all wouldn't have to tip the around me then would you" Sienna shouts and we can all hear her crying.

I switch the cooker off at the mains as Charlie says "Great, just bloody great" and Sid already heading for the hallway when we hear Maria shouting at Sid saying "What did you do this time? Didn't I just tell you about how you speak with Sienna. What is wrong with you".. by the time I've reached the hallway Sienna is already going upstairs.

"Actually it was me this time" I say looking at Maria who looks mad as hell.

"And what did you do? What is wrong with you all? Can't you see that women has been through hell and just wants to try to move on for all of you. But you don't give her the space to discover who she is again. You don't think Clive just battered her physically, he took away her mental state of who she was.. She just wants some space to feel like she is her own damn person again. She knows you all love and care for her. Dont you see she is trying to protect you all in her own way though, without keeping the big secrets anymore. Do you think it was easy for Sienna to come back and admit she was a battered house wife.. I saw them scars myself this morning. How I didn't cry and held it together is beyond me. How Sienna must feel everyday seeing them scars every damn day knowing it was the fatal incident that will remind her everyday how she was brutally nearly killed and what took her babys from her is beyond me. Yet she gets up every damn day trying go heal and be better for all of you. All she wants back is some normality without feeling suffercated because she was suffocating in that marriage.. I suggest you all think before you speak in future" Maria says pissed at us all.

"She let you see the scars?" Sid says

"No, she doesn't let anyone see but I clocked them and had to play it cool. I bet you lot would flip if you had clocked them. Remember she is a survivor doing her best" Maria says then she walks back into the front room as Jordan has started crying no doubt from all the shouting going on as she mumbles "Great, now you all woke the baby up".

"I will go fix this" I say

"No, your leave Sienna until she comes downstairs" Maria says loudly.
