Chapter Fifty-One

SIENNA'S POV

"I need a drink so bad. These children can tire me out when they get playful" I say walking into a tilly office and grabbing my bottle of water.

"Amy is out of surgery and it went great, don't be mad but I kinda let it slip to your mum and now your phone is going crazy" Emily says sheepishly

"It's okay" I say picking up my phone and she isn't wrong in the past fourty minutes I've had served phone calls and about twenty dozen messages from everyone.

I couldn't even get to read any of them as Sid starts to ring me.

"Put me on loud speaker" I say as a greeting answering the phone.

"About damn time you answered the phone" Sid says come near the end I hear the difference go to speaker phone

"Sienna, I swear to god wait till I see you. How could you lie to me?" My mum asks.

"How Amy? Has she woken up yet?" I ask.

"Yes, she is doing great now tell me what's going on" Tilly says

"Yeah, we need to know what's happening" Ethan says

"Whats happening is your staying with your mum no ifs no buts. I'm fine. You can all stop worrying" I say

"Have they caught him yet?" My dad asks in a demanding tone.

"There working on it" I say

"Well then your not safe are you" My dad retorts.

"I am as safe here as I would be back home. I'm sure there find him soon and they better pray they find him before I do because next time he better now be a coward behind a car and face me personally so I can beat his ass" I say

"You will do no such thing that's what we are for" Sid says

"I certainly don't want to see you. You can stay with Ethan. After all you already have high views on me coming here anyway. So don't be double standardise yourself and you Charlie don't think I've forgotten you!" I snap

"Hey, princess I had your back i better be welcome" Harry says.

"No, I trust you the most to look after Tilly that's where your needed" I say

"I don't need looking after thank-you very much" Tilly says and I can imagine her scorned face now making me smile at the thought.

"I know, but come on I need Harry to feel useful. Its pointless anyone coming over when I will be home soon anyway. Its just a waste of time and money. I am fine plus your family are just as crazy as them lot in protecting me. I don't need double the army" I say

"I did tell them that to be fair" Tilly says

"Well, I'm not happy about this Sienna.. I swear you bring yourself home the second Tilly lands and I swear you escape Emily's sight even for a second I won't need a flight because I'd swim faster" My mum says

"Okay, understood" I say

"And we want hourly messages" My dad adds.

"Oh come on dad I'm not superwoman I need sleep as well" I say

"You know what I mean when your awake" My dad says

"Okay, done" I say

"And face time three times a day so we know your okay without lieing" Ethan says

"Okay, now are you all satisfied?" I ask

"No, I won't be happy until your home" Harry says

"Yeah me to" Charlie chips in.

"Let me know when Amy is up to a phone call please" I say

"I will" Tilly says

"Don't you change the subject so fast. How could you keep this from us?" Maria asks.

"Because today is about Amy. I'm fine" I say

"Fine my ass some crazy bloke is out for you and related to" Sid starts to say and I snap "Dont you dare speak his name. I'm sick of heading it. I'm fine and I'm not letting him or his cousin ruin my life anymore. I'm not scared anymore no I'm freaking angry and mad and trust me put me in front of any of them no vehicles involved they wouldn't last two seconds I'm that mad. I'm not the women who left battered and scared no im Sienna a fighter and I certainly won't be bullied anymore so don't say that name!"

"I'm sorry" Sid says

"Sienna, we are just worried about you that's all" My mum says sounding a little calmer now

"I know, and I love you all dearly. I promise I'm coming home soon alive and fine. Stop worry about me and worry about Amy she just had brain surgery that's a lot worse that the odd bump and bruise I got" I say

"Okay, let's hope the police find him soon to give us peace of mind at least dad says but his tone of voice tells me to expect him to show up at least.

Emily's phone starts to ring and she answers it as I say "Let's hope. Anyway, onto more important things. Once Amy is recovered we will need someone to help Tully find a car for me to buy. After all its my fault her car is a write off here" I say

"I told you not to worry about that plus it wasn't your fault. I will be back soon anyway I need to go check Amy's observations" Tilly says.

"Send Amy my love" I say

"Will do" Tilly says and Emily says Sienna Brain is on the phone he said the police showed up looking for you and are still there do you have time to talk?"

"Yeah, let's switch phones" I say

ETHAN'S POV

"Ethan do you want to come with me this time?" Tilly asks Christsake again torn between Sienna and my mum today. I swear I will be in the hospital bed next I think to myself

"Go see your mum, I will let you know what we find out" Charlie says so decide I'm better of doing what I can here since I'm here anyway.

I follow Tilly out the room to go see my mum.

"I need to stay for two days but I swear I will be on the first flight out so Sienna can come back" Tilly says

"I want to be on that flight with you then I can join Sienna on the flight back" I say

"If that's what you really want I can arrange that you know my flight details. I actually don't think its a bad idea. Your mum will have plenty of people around here and you could use some rest bite yourself. Plus Sienna maybe stubborn in admitting it but she always would spray her bed clothes of the aftershave you wear. Its the only way that women sleeps peacefully" Tilly says and I look at her surprised.

"O I like you more and more you talk. She is stubborn indeed" I say

"I know, us women are very independent we just need someone there without feeling like we are burdens and independent still really" Tilly says

"I will bare that in mind" I say

"Okay, don't be alarmed by the sight tour about to see. Its all perfectly normal and your mum is honestly fine. Its the recovery process now really. I'm still going to have consultation with your mum via video calls when I'm back in Ireland but I'm confident the staff here can keep things flowing until I come back in time for new year" Tilly says

"Thanks, Tilly of you didn't like hugs I'd hug you again right now to show how grateful I really am" I say

"I know you are. You ready to see your mum now?" Tilly asks.

"Yes" I say

"Okay, talk quietly and remember Amy may be very sleepy still and a little out of it" Tilly says then she opens the door and we walk in. My dad is sat at my mums bedside whilst a nurse is at the bottom of the bed.

My mum is holding my dads hand and briefly opened her eyes to look at me trying to smile before she closes them again. Her head is bandaged and Tilly was right there's a fair few wires that I'm a little worried to touch my mum. Even her face is a little swollen and bandaged up as well.

"You can hold your mums other hand and take a seat" Tilly says encouraging me to get closer.

"How are you feeling mum?" I say trying to be mindful of my voice volume taking note how Tilly spoke in the room.

"Tired" my mum says as I take a seat and her hand in mine.

"Thats to be expected. I just need to check your observations again Amy, can you tell me how the pain level is right now and are you still feeling sick?" Tilly asks.

"No, sickness is a lot better than before. The pain is about the same though" My mum says keeping her eyes closed.

"Okay, let me work on that. You just rest" Tilly says

"If you need a break dad I will stay here with mum" I say

"Its okay, I'm good for now and I don't want to leave your mum just yet" my dad says

"Okay" I say

"Ethan" My mum croaks out

"Yes mum" I say looking at her as she tilts her head buy griminaces as she does keeping her eyes closed to face me.

"Sue, she is lieing about Sienna. She blinked three times that's how I know. Go find out what happened. I will be okay" My mum says

"We know mum, it was just a minor accident and Sienna is actually fine. She send her love by the way" I say

"What kind of accident?" My mum asks.

"She fell over cutting her head open but is completely fine. I'm sure she has a headache just not as bad as you do Amy. Don't worry my family are looking after Sienna so let us look after you. Once your feeling a little more with it we can ring Sienna and you can compare your head wounds. you though win hands down" Tilly says

"That you do. Your a true fighter love. I'm so proud of you" my dad says.

"Me to, I'm so glad you have thought with all your might. It's time to rest now though so you can go back to hound me for monthly visits" I say

"I'm changing it to weekly" my mum says and I'm glad she still has her sense of humour even when feeling rough.

Tillys phone starts to ring "Sorry, dunny enough it's Sienna video calling she probably wants to make sure herself Amy is okay" Tilly says answering it.

"Why are you scrubbing up?" Tilly says quietly

"I need you Tilly, I was ive had a few testing days stay on facetime because if I lose this baby I swear to god I'm going to go insane" we hear Sienna say

"Which baby is it? whats the issue and of course I will stay with you let me leave this room and find somewhere a little quieter" Tilly says walking out the room.

SIENNA'S POV

"I can't believe you pulled that off" Tilly says and I descrub and get myself cleaned up

"I don't know either. That was like some miracle. I was actually scared there for a moment and after the past few days I've had it would of been the icing on the cake" I say

"I know, its been a bit crazy. We got through it though" Tilly says

"Only because you kept me sane. I was meant to be home reuniting with family and showing them I'm living my best life. look what I've shown them. I swear its like fate knows when to strike" I say drying my hands before slumbing to the floor holding the phone.

"I know what will cheer you up" Tilly says

"Wine" I say

"No, Amy is more with it now. Come say hi with me" Tilly says

"I look a mess" I say

"You look like a surgeon after a rough day at work.. we all look a mess" Tilly says and I see her walking the hospital corridors.

"I just need a minute" I say feeling a wave of exhaustion taking over me. I close my eyes needing a minute to regain myself.

"How are you feeling?" Tilly asks.

"I'm okay" I say keeping my eyes closed

and leaning my head back against the wall

"You need to go home and sleep, you still have a head injury and think your superwoman" Tilly says

"I need a shower before I can sleep" I say

"Maybe you do. Maybe you just need a days break or a few days break to take in these past few days. Its been a lot and nothing you expected at all" Tilly says.

"Hmm, let me know when you reached Amys room" I say

A few minutes go by then Tilly says "Ethan hugged me today, I swear I could of screamed down the hospital that even you would of heard me and came running" I cute Tilly off say "I'm so sorry I forgot to warn them not to hug you.

"It's okay, the whole time I kept thinking Sienna said these will be the four lads to make me trust me men again and there be the first men I hug without screaming its okay Tilly, if Sienna trusts these peoples so can I. I had your voice in my head the whole time telling me its okay you can trust these people you are safe. And although we are apart right now you helped me through that like I had helped you through that operation because you hate operating on baby's in frwr of them dieing. But we both made it apart. Its been a rough few days but damp we should be proud of ourselves" Tilly says

"I'm so proud of you for not screaming the hospital down" I say

"I'm so proud of you, you saved a babys life like a damp pro" Tilly says

"We did it today" I say

"We rocked! and we will keep rocking one day at a time" Tilly says

"One day at a time. Tomorrow is a new day" I say

"Thats right, now let's say hello to Amy" Tilly says
