Chapter Fifty

ETHAN'S POV

"Your be fine. Just wait until you come back round you know your have me and dad run of our feet fetching you all your favour ice creams and chocolate" I say holding my mums hand.

"You know me to well, don't forget I want lots of colourful flowers to look at. The more the merrier" my mum says smiling at me.

"Okay, are we ready? Or do you need a few more minutes?" Tilly says walking into the room with a big bright smile on her face.

"I'm ready, let's get this done with" My mum says

"Great. Now the rest of you I shall have someone come give you regular updates. Don't worry, Amy is in perfectly good hands. I will look after Amy like she was my own family. Oh while I remember Sue please look after my phone like we agreed. Can't wait u till I get a office here and I don't trust the lockers. My mum is good and hounding me so feel free to speak with her. Actually, she just messaged saying she has taken Sienna breakfast into work.. but you should see what she did to my office since she is bored waiting for her to get out of surgery" Tilly says passing sue her phone.

"I shall take good care of it for you don't you worry" Sue says.

I stand up ignoring there conversations as I give my mum and hug and kiss. "See you real soon" I say then I move away so my dad can have a moment.

"Told you it was good" Tilly says and Sue says "Yeah, it is" Sue says but she doesn't sound happy so I look over to see her looking worried. Is she worried about my mum or Sienna though or maybe both I think to myself.

SIENNA'S POV

"Emily, you really don't have to join me at work I will be fine" I say

"Bollocks to that, I'm staying in Tillys office and you will check in at least once a hour otherwise I will destroy the hospital looking for you. I meant my promise to your parents and Tilly last night. Plus they don't even know the full story do they. I don't like keeping secrets like this but you better keep your promise your tell them the full story once Amy is out of Surgery" Emily says as we walk into Tillys office

"Okay, I promise. Talking of which I need to contact Ethan. Tilly message saying they have clicked something isn't right and she did the cover story of im in surgery. I can't wait much longer before no doubt one of them catch a flight themselves" I say making Emily laugh.

"Well they have nothing to worry about I'm not going to let anything happen to you. Hopefully the police catch that asshole before I clap eyes on him" Emily says

"I know" I say pulling up Ethans number and I start to ring him whilst Emily makes herself at home in Tillys office.

He must be worried I think as he answers on the first ring saying "Hey, Sienna. Are you okay?".

"Isn't it me who should be asking of your okay?" I respond trying to sound cheerful.

"Maybe so, Mum has been down for two hours now. She was gutted you couldn't speak beforehand. Is everything okay your end?" Ethan asks.

"Yes, its just some patient that Tilly is more trained to deal with plus we had a major accident last night that required me to come in earlier to work. I've literally just got out of surgery. How are you all holding up?" i ask.

"You know good as can be. Better now we have heard from you as well" Ethan says

"You shouldn't be worrying about me, I'm sorry. Just worry about your mum but also don't worry to much because I know she is in the best hands possible" I say trying to reassure him.

"Harry said he will face time you later once mum is out of surgery he just told me to pass the message on" Ethan says

"Oh, okay. Tell him if I don't answer I'm with patients and shall get back to him as soon as possible" I say

"Okay, I will do" Ethan says.

"Don't forget if you need to chat or anything im here for you" I say

"Well, how about I just face time you know be good to see your face as these four walls are boring to look at. Plus everyone is here and I'm sure they would like to see and speak with you as well" Ethan says.

"Well I don't want to see or speak with Sid and Charlie right now it's not the place for petty arguments. I don't trust them to hold there tongues even if I can. How about I send you a picture instead" I say not wanting them to see the cut on my head.

"Okay, I can settle for that" Ethan says

"Is my mum with you?" I ask.

"Yes and your dad. They haven't left my dads side which I'm grateful for just like I'm grateful for everyone else here. I'm also really grateful you brought us Tilly" Ethan says

"Anytime. Would you mind if I have a quick word with my mum please?" I say

"Of course not" Ethan says and I wait a second as I hear him inform.my mum i would like a word.

"Hey, sweetie how are you today?" My mum asks.

"I'm okay, better than yesterday. How's things going your end?" I ask.

"As good as can be expected. I think your phone call seems to be a welcomed distraction for us all. I see what Emily did to Tillys office its really great. I'm sure it will perk you up after yesterday losing that patient" my mum says and I think to breakfast the silly face pancakes.

"Yes, it did cheer me up for sure. Mum can you give me a call once Amy is out of the operation and uh have dad and Tilly join you. I have a update on flights" I say

"Oh, okay. you can just text it to me if its easier" My mum says.

"I have to go now mum. ring me once the operation is done love you bue" I say hanging up.

"Ouch your mum is going to be so worried now Sienna" Emily says

"Its the best I can do to keep everyone happy right now. I need to go check my patients and think of a way to make my face look better" I say

"Remember every hour!" Emily shouts at me as I head out the door. I'm not sure who is worse Emily or my lot back home I think to myself heading straight to see my babys. There make me feel better seeing them all good I think to myself.

ETHAN'S POV

"She went?" I say as Sue hands me back my phone.

"Yes" Sue says frowning

"Whats did she say?" Sid asks.

"Like you care. I need some air" Sue says standing up. Ian grabs Sues hand and says "Sue?"

"Its, okay I just need a minute. Hopefully it won't be much longer until Amy is out my nerves are shot with worry" Sue says

"Want me to join you?" Ian asks

"No, I'm okay" sue says leaving as soon as she is gone Maria follows and I hope she gets some answers.

"Ian, I hope im not talking out of turn here. Please forgive me if I am. Even I can see something isn't right here. All our family might as well be one. Sienna is just as much family as Amy is please tell me of there something wrong with Sienna" my dad asks.

Ian looks at us all before he looks at my dad and say "Ben, its kind of you to worry about Sienna at a time like this.. please don't worry Sienna is okay"

"Okay, so long as your sure. Just know if something has happened I'm here for you like you are here for me" My dad says

"I'm not buying it. She hasn't even sent me a photo. took hours to contact us. your all acting weird. Be honest" I say.

"Fine I will level with you all because I can see your all going stir crazy but don't you say a word I told you to anyone. You was going to find out after the surgery anyway" Ian says caving in.

"What you mean something has happened and you didn't even tell me!" Sid says passed off.

"Its Siennas wishes because she knew you would fly out and she wants us here with Ethan and Ben and Amy. She is okay trust me I nearly flew out myself. He'll Tilly and Sue where on the phone to Sienna last night when she was driving back from work.. she was in a car crash with minor injuries. She is fine though and insisted we stay here on her behalf. she said today isn't about her its about Amy and these two" Ian says.

"For fucksake these women will be the death of me I swear to god" I say

"Shs going to tell you all once Amy is out of surgery now stop worrying I promise she okay plus Emily who is Tillys mum has even gone to work with her today to assure Sue and myself. Apparently she requires hourly check in since Sienna insisted in going into work otherwise she will cause her own destruction of the hospital to find her" Ian says

"My sister was in a car crash and you didn't tell me" Sod says tanding up angry

"Sit your ass down.. you a but been slating your sister giving her grief these past few days so shut it and pipe it mr. Don't you dare let Tilly or sue know I told you" Ian says

"Your sure she is okay?" I ask

"Ethan, I swear I seen for myself the medical discharge notes and see her on facetime. Other than a cut to her head and few bruises she is fine. I swear if she wasn't I wouldn't be sat here right now. please just focus on your mum now and stop worrying about Sienna she won't forgive herself of she knew you were all worried about her which is why I've told you to stop you worrying" Ian says

"You want me to head over now or wait?" Harry asks.

"Just wait until we see for ourselves" Sid says

"Yeah let's see ourselves first. let's hope Mum comes out soon" I say and then send a little prayer up for my mum again.

"If you need to go you should go i will be okay" my dad says to Ian.

"I'm confident Sienna is okay.. if need be I can fly out afterwards. For now your stuck me" Ian says.

"I appreciate it" My dad says.

Time seemed to go by ever so slowly and I swear I lost my mind a recovered in a dozen times over. Not in the mood to talk to people I just waited and waited and waited watching the clock tik by ever so slowly. Everyone else had the talkative and quite moments.

The door opened and i jumped out my seat seeing Tilly stood there.

"How is she?" I ask as I hear my dad say "How's Amy?".

"It was success, Amy is doing amazing. She is in recovery. Only one person can go sit with her once she starts to come round though. Who is that going to be?" Tilly says

"Thank-you so much" I say hugging Tilly as my dad says "I will go in" I move back from hugging Tilly the second I realise he had her arms wide not responding "Sorry" I say.

"Its okay, you didn't know. I'm not a hugger sorry. Ben, get yourself ready and don't be alarmed at the wires and machines and swelling it was major surgery.. I can promise it went as best as possible and I Successfully removed all the tumour. Now we still have a little way to be sure but I can't defiantly say today was a very good day" Tilly says and everyone starts chatting among themselves with relief.

"Do you want to come with me now Ben?" Tilly asks.

"Yes, please" My dad says moving quickly to follow Tilly

"That's such a relieve" Sue says.

"It sure is" I say as Sid pats my shoulder and I realise I'm all choked up from relieve myself like a massive weight has been lifted from me.

"I'm going to ring and let Sienna know" sue says

"Sue, tell Sienna I shall ring her the second I've seen my mum to thank her personally" I say

"I will do" Sue says leaving the room to ring Sienna.

"I'm so happy for you and your parents. I'm glad the operation was a success" Charlie says giving me a hug

"Me to, I can't wait to see my mum" I say

"Its been a long road but finally the light is so close. I'm happy for you" Harry says.

"One down today one to go" I say

"She is okay, so its two down" Ian says with confidence.

"I hope so" I say.

"Once your mum is all better we will throw a massive party to celebrate, Your mum deserves it" Ian says

"She really does" I say

"Oh, I can help plan it. It should be a surprise party" Maria says.

"Yes, thats a great idea" Harry says

"It is a good idea" I say

"I shall set up a group chat so we can brain storm ideas" Maria says

"Make sure you add Sienna, and you two will play nice in it" I say pointing to Charlie and Sid

"I feel bad enough" Charlie says

"So you should" Maria pipes in.

"I will play nice" Sid says

"What shall we name the group chat Ethan?" Maria asks.

"Survivor" I say because my mum is she survived this battle and won I think to myself.

"I still can't believe it. Tilly was sent to us just in time. Its like Christmas came early" Maria says

The door opens and Sue walks in and you can tell she has been crying.

"The second Ben gets back we need to go" Sue says to Ian quietly which I hear. It seems Sid heard as well because he said "Tell me.right now whats happened and don't lie to me dad said she was in a car accident we all know that much for sure"

Sue looks at us all and she says "Then there is no point hiding it from you any longer.

"Yes she was in a car crash but she is okay. Safe is a different question. Seems she kept some things a secret until after she received the news Amy was out of surgery.. It wasn't a accident she was targeted. Ian, book us flights it seems she will only come home if I drag her home" Sue says

"What do you mean a target?" I ask.

"Emily, just told me Sienna recognised the other driver. Its Cliff's cousin.. he see the news and found where she was and went for revenge. He hasn't been caught because he did a bit and run as well. So who knows of he has anything else planned. I'm so sorry Ethan, I promised Sienna I wouldn't say anything so you and your mum wouldn't worry. If I knew the full truth I would be stood here right now. But I need to go I need to make sure nothing else happens to my baby this time" Sue say beside herself with worry.

"Go, and bring her back. If I could I'd go myself" I say feeling torn.

"I'm coming as well" Sid say

"Ethan, tell me do I stay or go?" Harry asks.

"Go and bring her back safe" I say feeling so stressed again.

"Whats going on? What did I miss now, I left Ben with Amy for a moment" Tilly says walking in.

"Sienna lied to us, it was a targeted attack" Sue says

"Explains why my mum isn't leaving her side. Don't worry i do know my family would Die before allowing that girl to come to any harm" Tilly says

"I need to go get her" Sue says

"Okay, right now all of you calm down. Sit down and let's talk with Sienna and discuss this together. By the time you al fly out it will be about time she flys back here anyway. Trust me my family will look after Sienna" Tilly says
