To say that Topaz was barely cooperating was an understatement. The first day of therapy was already frustrating, to say the least. Topaz was constantly complaining about everything. She was complaining about how she was being pushed too hard on her first day, how the therapist was looking at her like she was feeling sorry for her. She even complained about the lights being too bright and then being too dim. This was the side of Topaz that Jethro was seeing for the first time.
