All the worry and the stress that we had at dinner was finally lifted when Jethro heard what the doctor said. There was a chance for Topaz to walk again. His prayers were finally answered. Maybe the doctor that diagnosed Topaz when they went to the lake was wrong. Maybe they did not look deeper enough to see that the nerves in her legs were working again. But that doesn't matter now. All that matters is that there was a possibility for Topaz to walk again. She just needs to drink medication, eat healthily and go through therapy. Which was the original plan that Topaz and Jethro had back when she was recovering in the hospital. "Do you really think I can walk again, Doctor?"
