ILY But I Think Someone Else Loves Me Too

Jessica has been so nice to Jethro these past few days. But that does not mean that Topaz was not running in his mind constantly. Jethro enjoys the company, he likes knowing Jessica more. But as unfair as it may sound, he wished that it was Topaz he was talking with. It was Topaz that he wanted to learn more about.

But Topaz was nowhere to be found. He had attempted to visit her several times at her home, but even Mrs. Layton was nowhere to be found. It somehow felt that they disappeared without a trace.

The worst part was that she did not even care to let Jethro know where she was going. Her phone was not ringing anymore but Jethro would constantly send her messages.

But Jethro knew that his messages were starting to get seldom too. He was starting to fail to send the good morning messages that he used to send Topaz every day. Maybe it can't be helped, especially if he is not receiving anything in return.

But is love built that way? Was he supposed to be waiting for something in return from Topaz?

Or is he too assuming that somehow Topaz loved him too?

Loved. He was even thinking of his feelings for Topaz in the past tense.

Is this the first steps to falling out of love?
