Chapter 1
A: [She got removed from Ashton White's official fan club, and all she said was congratulations?!]
B: [Unfollowed and blocked him on social media right away, so quick! Is she just heartbroken and acting out?]
C: [Doesn't look like it. She shut down her fan site so cleanly, it feels like she's been waiting three years for this exact moment.]
Inside the live stream, Ashton White's new top supporter, Ruby Calloway, spoke in a sweet, soft tone, "Certain obsessive fans should have stepped away long ago. They follow him on flights and chase him everywhere he goes. Last time, Ashton got completely surrounded and blocked at the airport because of that."
The comment section immediately blew up with excitement:
A: [Tell it like it is!]
B: [Obsessive fans need to stay away!]
Ashton watched the stream, and his expression turned dark enough to look menacing.
His assistant quickly tried to smooth things over.
"Everyone who has followed Ashton for three years knows how much Beatrice Preston cared for him. It's impossible that she truly feels nothing. She must just be holding back tears. I guarantee you, within three days, she'll be begging Ashton to follow her again!"
Ashton's tense face relaxed slightly. "If she offers a sincere apology, I might consider letting her back into the fan group."
At that moment, I, Beatrice Preston, was actually watching the live stream, but I was completely detached from everything being said. I was busy packing up my last set of camera equipment.
Even if I heard those mocking remarks, I would only smile calmly.
If my family hadn't gone bankrupt three years ago, leaving us drowning in debt with collectors showing up at our door every single day.
If I hadn't been completely out of options back then, when Ashton White's manager found me and made an offer, no one could refuse...
She promised to clear all my debts and pay me an additional fifty million dollars, if I would work as a professional fan site manager, help build his public image, and turn him from a little-known newcomer into a major star.
I never would have spent three years carrying heavy telephoto lenses to every event, editing every blank or unimpressive expression into stunning photos, and praising his stiff acting as "deep, meaningful work."
Over those three years, I built his reputation as a "handsome, talented star," ran his official support community, and even wrote press releases to make him look better than his competitors.
Now that he has firmly secured his place at the top, it is time for me to step down and move on.
I deleted the account 'First Love Support' and began taking courses in film production.
But Ashton kept sending me messages from a private account:
Ashton: Your tantrum has gone far enough.
Ashton: I know you mean well, but don't stand so close when you meet me at the airport next time.
Every word carried the same arrogant attitude of a celebrity who thinks he is above everyone else.
He was convinced that, just like the past three years, I would only need a few days of cold treatment before I came crawling back, begging for his attention.
I simply blocked and deleted his messages without a second thought.
He thought he was lowering himself to reach out to me, but he had no idea that over three years I had learned every single trick of his marketing team, even the exact cost of buying trending topics. His little games would never work on me anymore.
Later, I heard from friends in the industry that Ashton kept leaving comments on all my public profiles from his private account:
Ashton: [Have you had enough of this nonsense?]
Ashton: [So you got removed from the fan club, does that mean you have to unfollow me completely?]
Ashton: [Add me back right now!]
