Hazel dragged her weak body outside despite the burning pain in her heels that threatened to throw her off her feet anytime. She opened the door a little to peep through first, seeing nothing and noting that the noise she had heard had stopped, she stepped out quietly. She knew the noise came from the direction of the King’s quarters so she headed there.
As she walked, she could hear distinct sounds. Sone of the ladies in the harem passed by her as she went, none spoke to her though.
