Hailey had been gone for over three hours now and even Jake, whom Caleb assumed that she followed had already returned.
“Where’s my sister?” Caleb asked Jake as he walked in.
“I don’t know. I left here, remember??” Jake replied.
“She went after you. Didn’t you see her?" Caleb asked.
“Well, I didn’t see her, how long has she been gone?”
“She’s been gone for over three hours now. She knows nowhere here so she wouldn't have gone far unless something has happened to her.”
“Let’s wait awhile, she really is not one to wander around unnecessarily so if we don’t see her anytime soon, we will go out to look for her.” Jake said.
