Hazel had only meant to find something to do while Javion talked with the men but she somehow wandered into the healer’s house when Cecilia heard the second heartbeat from her.
She needed to confirm so she walked close to Hazel and out her head to her stomach. She looked up at Hazel in surprise.
“You didn’t know, did you?”
“What?”
“That you’re going to become a Mother soon.
Hazel stared at her in shock. It was the last thing she expected would happen and as she stood there, she wondered how.
Javion would take this news. Cecilia took both of her hands as if she knew what was going through her mind.
“Calm down, just tell him first. I’m sure it’s a news he would be delighted about.”
“Are you sure?”
“I can’t be more sure,”
Hazel looked so happy that Cecilia could tell she can’t wait
