"Fingertips" tells the story of Aisha, a  young "haafu" Japanese school girl who challenge herself to take part a high school sports team, specifically football for rise up her self confidence after she  with her family moved to Japan three years ago. She joins a quiet struggling girls' soccer team at Urashima High School, she quickly makes a name for herself as a fierce competitor on the field. Along the way, she forms close friendships with her teammates. As the team begins to improve, Aisha must confront her own doubts and fears about her abilities as a goalkeeper and decide what truly matters to her. "Fingertips" is a heartwarming and inspiring story about chasing your dreams, overcoming obstacles, and finding your place in the world.

PROLOGUE
The Urashima High School ladies football team faced off against their rivals, Kawakami High School in the Regional level play-off. Maya, the team's goalie watched from the goal post, her heart racing with excitement and nervousness. On the field, the coach called out to his players, "Come on, girls! We can do this! Keep the pressure up and we'll get back in the game!" The team captain shouted back, "We need to be more aggressive, coach! We can't let them control the midfield!" "Agreed," said the coach. "Let's switch to a plan C. Yui, move up to attack and press their defence!" The players quickly adjusted their positions from 3-5-2 to 4-3-3, trying to make use of the new formation. But the Kawakami's was too strong, and they managed to score two quick goals within the first half. Urashima looked demoralized, but the coach urged them to keep pushing. "We've come too far to give up now! Remember our training and stick to our game plan!" Maya could hear the coach's words even from the stands, and she felt a sense of admiration for his determination to never give up. But then the unexpected happened - the Urashima goalkeeper was slightly injured and the coach thinks she should to leave the field. The coach was frantically looking around for a replacement, Maya could see the desperation in the coach's eyes as he realized she were in trouble. Without a second thought, Maya shout towards the coach. "It's okay coach, I'm fine!" The coach hesitated at first, but then he saw the determination in Maya's eyes. "Are you sure?" he asked. "I'm sure, coach," she replied. As Maya wake up and took her position guarding the goalpost, she felt a surge of confidence. She focused on the ball, blocking the shots coming her way with ease. "Maya, come out of your box to clear the ball on the counter-attack!" he yelled. The opposing team tried to take advantage of Maya's in goal and piled on the pressure, but Urashima's defence rallied around her and tried to keep the opposition at bay. The second half began with Urashima High School ladies football team switching to an all-out attacking strategy. They used the entire field and kept their opponents on their toes with their near and far post strategies. Their fans were cheering the team on, and Maya's heart was pounding with excitement as she fought for the ball. The Urashima team managed to equalize the score within 10 minutes of the second half, sending their supporters and teammates into a frenzy of excitement. "We can do this! Keep pushing!" shouted Maya as the team huddled upon the field. They were determined to keep pushing for the win, but their opponents managed to c***k their defense and score a third goal. "Don't give up! We still have a chance," said the team captain, Yumi who trying to boost the morale of the rest of the team. Urashima kept pushing until the final whistle, but they couldn't manage to score another goal despite their valiant efforts. After the referee blew the whistle, the Urashima team trudged back to their dressing room feeling defeated. They sat down with their heads down, quiet and crestfallen. Maya spoke up. "I can't believe we lost. We gave it our all out there." She looked around the room with tears streaming down her face. "We're a great team, and we worked so hard to get here." The captain nodded in agreement. "We did our best, but we fell short today." The team looked at the captain with hope in their eyes, and Maya wiped away her tears. "You're right. We can't give up. We'll come back stronger and better next time!" As they entered the room, the coach beckoned them over. "It was a tough game, girls," he said. "But let's not forget what we accomplished. We made it to the regional level of the competition! That's a huge achievement." Some of the players sniffled back tears, but the coach continued. "I'm proud of every single one of you. You gave it your all out on the field and that's all that matters." The coach went around the room, offering words of encouragement and comfort to each player. Maya could feel the bond between them growing stronger, despite the loss. Once the coach was satisfied that the players were feeling better, he left them to change and went to attend the post-match interview with the media. The coach strode confidently into the room, taking his seat in front of the cameras. "It was a tough game, but I'm still proud of my players," he said. "The other team had some strong players and they managed to get the better of us today. But we never gave up and we fought until the final whistle. That's the spirit we want to carry forward into the next tournament." When asked about his plans for the future, the coach smiled. "I promise you this - next tournament, we will go further. We will qualify for the national level and we will make our school proud." The interview ended and the coach made his way back to the dressing room. He could hear the players laughing and joking around, having put their disappointment behind them. His heart swelled with pride at the thought of how far they had come. As the coach left the dressing room, Maya took a deep breath and stood up. She looked around the room, taking in the sight of her teammates, many of whom were crying tears of defeat. Maya felt a sense of gratitude and pride in her heart. As the most senior player on the team, Maya knew that this would be her last game for Urashima High School. However, she also knew that she had given it her all and had left everything on the field. She walked towards her teammates, hugging each of them tightly. As she reached the door, she looked back at the room and smiled. As Maya left the dressing room, she couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness wash over her. However, she knew that this was just the beginning of her journey in women's football. With the support of her team and coach, she was ready to take on the world, one game at a time.
