Chapter Six Callan read MacNeill’s report, struggling to get his mind off Aileen. He wanted to go see the ex-wife himself. Damn procedures! His email pinged. The bastards had woken up. The lab technician, Callan was pleased to discover, had gathered the human remains and was running a DNA test on them. They had also sent evidence to a forensic odontologist. The DNA tests, unfortunately, would take two or more days. He needed those damn reports right now, not tomorrow. Someone had died. Hell! The phone rang, startling Callan. ‘Bloody hell! It better be the lab—’ ‘Callan.’ Robert. ‘I’m at the ELV yard. I think ye’ll want to see this.’ Callan shut his eyes.
