Chapter Thirteen The chill enveloped him first, and then the icy wind found its way through his thick scarf. Bloody hell! Just when things couldn’t get any worse… Callan shivered. Ensuring he’d locked the car and stuffed the key in his pocket – so the perp didn’t use it to get away – he blended into the darkness.
