Chapter 12

Donavon's pov

I con't take this is she going to reject me? Am I not good enough? I know I'm not but I was hoping she would at least give me a chance. My heart feels like it's beating out of my chest, I hold my breath I don't know what to do or what to think so I just sit her looking into her eyes waiting for her to speak.

"I don't know what to say to you Don. I've always had feelings for you to and like yourself I didn't show my feelings because I knew you had a mate out there and I couldn't possibly be with you just to lose you when she come along. To find out that I'm your mate is shocking to say the least and I've only dreamed of this. I still cont seem to grasp it yet but I'm getting there." she says with a small smile.

" Does this mean you want me to? You accept me? " I say still holding my breath.

" Yes, I accept you Don how can I not accept the greatest guy I know you are going to be the best alpha this pack has seen and I'm so happy to be able to be by your side and support you! " she gives me one of those brilliant smiles of hers that always seems to brighten up my day.

I lean taking her lips, kissing her with all of this emotion I have let her know how happy I am and how much I love her. Best of all she's kissing me back with all the same emotions. This is our first kiss we've shared.

After a few moments we pull away to get some air and I cont help to look at those perfect swollen lips of hers just wanting to kiss her again she has the most beautiful blush going on as well. I still cont believe this amazing, beautiful woman is mine. My mate is a strong and brave woman she will be the best Luna for my pack. They already love her.

I cont help but pull her closer my wolf is so happy to finally have her in our arms, so am I buddy. She smells so good like strawberry and chocolate I just want her close to me.

We spend the rest of the night in each other's amrs talking and kissing till we finally fall asleep.

I wake up feeling Stef try get out of my arms. "where are you going?" I ask still half asleep. "I really need to pee." she says shyly blushing. I lean in and give her a pick on her beautiful lips before I let her go.

Laying on my back with my hands behind my head I wait for her to come out of the bathroom. I still cont believe she's finally mine no more hiding my feelings for her anymore. It's was a challenge to keep my hands off her before and to keep my wolf from taking over but it's all over now. Now I can be with my mate every single day nevertheless I do have pack duty that I'll have to do but Ill ask her to go with me.

I'm going to show her everyday how much I love her. She will never doubt my love for he r I promise her that.
