The silence was scaring me as if I was sitting inside a well, deep below. The sound of water dripping echoes in the hallways. My heart pondered loudly inside my chest, ready to explode with the dark shadows appearing in the corners of my eyes. My body becomes stiff and cold, like I have been paralysed by something, something I can put a finger at.
