It's all a play?

Elite high school is one of the best schools in my city. By been the best I mean: best in academics, in Sports, in gossiping about other people and not minding your own business. just like usual, I walked down the hallway  where students were talking gisting and gossiping with their friends. Something was odd today, I heard a girl talking to a friend about a new student. I was curious. I wanted to know the new student that they are all talking about. I am Leela Payton, a normal highschool girl in her junior year. I love school and I love reading novels, people call me nerd but I don't see myself as that. I'm not boring am I? I walked to my locker,took and looked at my schedule and urrgh...biology, seriously? I might like school and studying but I hate biology. I walked to the biology lab, saw my friends and sat next to them. "Hey gurl" Alexia said. She is the live of the party girl. Adored by alot of students and teachers in the school. She is one of the most popular yet smartest girl in school. The type of girl who fight against anything that she thinks is wrong. I guess that is how she got her popularity. Beside Alexia, was Maya. She is kind, calm, down to earth, cool but she can get really pissed off easily. She is the type of person who you can thrust. She is also popular and smart. I, Alexia and Maya are called the smart group. Unlike the two of them, I am not that popular but at the same time, not invisible. "Hey. Wassup" I said arranging my notes and textbooks for biology. "Do you know?" Alexia said almost shouting. "Know what?" I asked curiously "It's about a guy who will be attending this school today" Maya spoke for the first time in this conversation. "At the middle of the semester?" I asked confused "Yeah, but well, he is cute" Alexia said "Have you seen him before?" Maya asked "No"  Alexia said "Then how sure are you that he is cute" "Well, because I heard it" "From those gossipers?" "Hmmm… yeah" "You do know they gossip nonsence at times, right?" "At times, yes, but this time, it is true. I mean why will they lie about that?" "They can lie about anythi…" Maya was interrupted by a guy who walked into the class. He was indeed handsome. He walked in catching all attention of the girls. He looked around looking for a chair. His eyes landed at the chair beside me. He looked at me and walked over. Oh my gosh I cannot believe this is happening. Few awkward moments passed. The bell rang for the first period to begin and a teacher walked into the class. Mrs Williams. She is nice, calm but strict when she has to be.  "Welcome class" she said. "Well, surprisingly we have a new student in our midst today. You all might have seen him but we will like to call him out to introduce himself." With that he stood up and walked to the front of the lab, near Mrs. Williams "I am Greyfrield" that was all he said before he went to sit back near me.  I stole glances from Greyfield and I will say he is quite handsome  ……….……………………….……………………….……………………………………………> I Walked down to the cafeteria as fast as I could. I was so hungry and I needed something to eat quickly. I founded an empty spot near the window. Maya and Alexia was not with me because they had their history teacher called them for whatever reason. I sat down silently eating my food when a chair was pulled beside me. "Hey pretty" I turned around to see Greyfield sitting next to me. "Hi" "So what is a pretty lady doing here alone" "Uhm… eating" "okay pretty" "I was not named pretty. I have a name" "So what is the name?" "Leela" "Leela" he repeated it nodding his head. Why does it feel like he knows me from somewhere.
